RIP Chris. We were very lucky to have him for 52 short years. I struggle with depression myself. Cornell fought hard. Some of the toughest people on this planet are-or were-just fighting to win against a silent internal killer, which cuts a little deeper every day. I love this song. Excellent cover here as well. May Violet have a long and prosperous career in music.

One of many words that describe this performance! I normally don't care much for covers but this right here is great! Doesn't detract from the song but adds a new appreciation for it. This is my first ever time ever hearing Violet! OMFG! Such a "clean" voice (whatever that means😂) ! I was visualizing Chris Cornell when he was passing away him praying to whoever would listen and Violet was his voice for that final moment. Violets voice is very powerful can't describe it because I am not at all a musician but the tone she is in is so good. Love that deeper tone so much! Could go on and on......

Absolutely....and I rarely like covers, but there are a few like Shinedown's "Simple Man" or in the rare case of a legendary band like Judas Priest covering Joan Baez "Diamonds and Rust" or Fleetwood Mac's "The Green Manilishi" where the covers are even better than the original IMO.

You really nailed this one Violet! It's far from easy to sing this song. Chris had a voice with a huge range (four octaves), but you manage to do it justice (and this is one of my favourite songs, so I'm quite picky!). You clearly also have an impressive vocal range! :)
