Enough with this. 1). Hotel or shelter we’ve spent a millions on. 2). Jail. 3). See 1&2. ❤

When you see these Public Works City employees cleaning up dumped trash and other peoples feces and urine, please don't be shy and thank them for their service. A little acknowledgment and appreciation goes a long way. Often these jobs are taken by recently released jail and prison inmates and former addicts in the early stages of being clean. It's hard work with decent pay, benefits and retirement/401k. Nonetheless it's often a thankless job and never ends. Keep letting them know they are greatly appreciated.

these public works entry level jobs pay about $40/hour with good benefits and retirement. Move up higher along the chain and you'll see people living lavish off the backs of homeless drug addicts.

Great, but lots of these people choose to live on the streets. They get free food, free cell phones from the government, and people give them blankets and tents. All they need is some drug money, which they also get from people in the neighborhood. Why would they want to start paying rent somewhere?

Most refuse shelter and want to live like this so they can do their drugs. It's all about drugs and addiction. Here in LA the homeless actually are offended when offered housing. They dont want rules and sober living.
