16:01 The 707's and Siemens in General have extreamly expensive leasing cost hence why their getting rid of them. The 701 will make a more consistant fleet and improve reliabilty and will also have toilets. They will also speed up dwell times at stations to improve the timetable. So it's perfectly justifyed.
KTV Videos I don’t mind the look but most of the trains other then the 456 are perfectly fine trains that don’t need replacement yet and the 701 is just bland it feels cheap and plastic with no memorable parts
Great Video KTV, I was planning on visiting a few stations in this area and on this line but that was stopped pretty quickly! Not sure what part of the world your from but if your on the midland west coast soon, let me know and we always do a few group videos.
The reason why the 707s are being gotten rid off is because SWR want every train on their network to have a toilet. But Southeastern are taking the 707s to replace the 376s on their line. Answer for question of the video: Worcester Park
Does “ Parkway “ count as a “ park “ station? If so then I have Whittlesford Parkway Worcestershire Parkway Bristol Parkway Coleshill Parkway Oxford Parkway Aylesbury Vale Parkway Didcot Parkway Southampton Airport Parkway Liverpool South Parkway Stratford-Upon-Avon Parkway
Yawwie says 720s are Tesco's finest bread section, 710s are the tesco club card, 345s are the window XP shutdown and 701s are the good old plastic bags annnnnnd he's about ready for his death
Not really it makes pefect logical sence. The 707 were part of an order for SWT to increase capcity. However since SWR did not order them the leasing cost are far too high. So ordering 701 is a way of cutting the cost as well as repaceing older and unrealiabe EMU's and creating a more reliable more consistant fleet as well as provideing better conectivity and acsessablity as well as toilets. So I would say it pefectly justifyed!

Absolutely, I'm all for the idea of the 701s, they look good.

@@JimbobsTransportVideos I personally have no problem with them but everyone has their right to their own opinion.
Wow this takes me right back to my childhood!

It's not only that, I think it was a general business decision to drop them and add the 701s.
@@KTVTransport i think it might be that SWR want the same surburban fleet for the whole of their suburban network
Will you be doing trains at London Waterloo?
In the future, yes.
Does “ Parkway “ count as a “ park “ station?
If so then I have
Whittlesford Parkway
Worcestershire Parkway
Bristol Parkway
Coleshill Parkway
Oxford Parkway
Aylesbury Vale Parkway
Didcot Parkway
Southampton Airport Parkway
Liverpool South Parkway
Stratford-Upon-Avon Parkway
Park not Parkway.
Great job again. I'm going to say St. James' Park for QOT.
I haven’t seen Battersea Park
That's another, yes.
Question of the Video: Raynes Park. Dunno why anyone else said that. I might just be big brain

Yep 😂
@@KTVTransport my answer is Northolt Park
It is stupid them getting rid of their 707
Well they’re not going to be scrapped already, they’re going to southeastern to replace the class 376 which will probably move to southern

But 701s are aventras. That makes them bad. Maybe cost effective but they are pretty much plastic
