@August Kendrick Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
This is sooo helpful!! Literally trying to do this right now! Great advice on distance from background and only worrying about what's actually in the frame!
Great tips. I am a ball talk show host, so my set is in a cardboard box. Having distance betwen me and the back wall is challenging though, because I am puppeted from behind with a black backdrop... its kind of weird to explain. But that one piece of information was something I never thought of and it is one reason my set, while it works, doesn't quite read as a talk show set.
What?! You should definitely have much more subscribers. The quality of your videos are outstanding. I've learned so much for this. Keep up the great work!
Fantastic video Mr Kelsey! Your audio has seriously made me question my own productions. Yours does sound on point! Great to have you talking us all through this stuff. Giving me some great ideas for my work shop shots. Keep it up sir, fantastic work!
I literally just found you because of this video for a show I'm doing and you have become my favourite human. (The knack is a wicked band!) You must work in the biz cuz this is slick... Thank you for this!
What a video! My mannnnn!!! So much to talk about. First, you are a true craftsman Brian. The set looks INCREDIBLE. Wow!!! 2nd. My favorite part of the editing was the sawing and drilling to the beat. Yes I noticed it, and yes it was amazing. But final point - after all that praise, I’m gonna hit you with a critique. You GOTTTTTAAA invest in a great guest chair. I know, I know. You are being “ironic” or “casual” or “I don’t gaf.” But the rest of your studio looks so goddamn LEGIT. Don’t de-legit it! I will finance the new chair in exchange for being one of your guests!!
