It is curious that the e-3008 did much better on range than the e-5008. The latter will be heavier, but was this to do with weather conditions? I see ev-database gives the e3008 235m and the e5008 230. Thx for another informative review.
Indeed, it was odd to me too. Weather is always a factor, but with that said I've tested many of cars in colder climate conditions, ironically the Kia EV9 being one of them! Really not sure why the range was this poor. Wouldn't ever trust that site btw, they get lots wrong! Glad you enjoyed the review though!
Beyond driver efficiency, Aerodynamic efficiency is key at speed and heavy weather conditions as the air gets denser when cold and or wet, second to that would by the tyre width, third would be the weight of the vehicle
In other tests that I have seen, e5008 actually came out as a surprisingly efficient car when it comes to mileage. Not sure why the result was different in this test. Otherwise, thanks for well made review!
You seem to have been driving in sport mode, which explains the higher consumption and lower range! In traditional tests, you drive 8n normal mode, the sport mode being used in special conditions! Bear that in mind!!!
@ I am calm, don’t worry! But I noticed that the ambient lighting on the dashboard is red, which means sport mode! And the other tests tend to show much better efficiency! So… 🤔
@@atreyuidaho good to hear. Again, it was tested in Normal mode. Maybe while on video (after the test were complete) it was on Sport mode. Cannot comment about "other tests".
Don't you dare call this affordable - even if it's barely more expensive than the Citroen ëBerlingo. Miles better value for money than the VW IDBUZZ tho... Stellantis/Citroen are criminally neglecting the Picasso which should at the bare minimum have a hybrid or EREV/REx phev yesrs ago. The 5008 has good bones to be the next C4 Picasso, but i expect nothing else than another C5 Aircross SUV... Hell, rebadge older PSA models into Chryslers given how that's Stellantis's weakest link!

Range tests were done in Normal mode, calm down.
@@TotallyEVany discretions of tyre size and how that compares to the e3008 and competitors?

Well for a large fully electric SUV with seven seats, it is!
