The G650GS came with both cast and spoked wheel depending on if you got the G650GS base model, or the G650GS Sertao which was a follow-up to the F650GS Dakar.
Excellent video! I got a 2003 model and very happy with it! If you are looking to get a new seat as you mentioned, I'd be interested in buying the one you have now. Let me know.
I just bought one of those from 2004 with 22400 km. Awesome first bike. I just needed to tight water pump screws because it was leaking just a little droplet. I have central rest and original top case. I'm trying to keep it original but i will need to 3D print an part so I can add a phone above the speedometer.

@@YouMotorcycle Thanks, yes absolutely correct the Sertao has a 21” spoked rim

2004 f650 here, great bike. Aluminium swing arm is simple.

Thanks, they are a good bike, if your leak comes back the seals need replacing eventually. It’s quite time consuming to do but the parts are cheap
@davesimmons-aclassicmotorc5812 oh and great video! Keep posting pls! Maybe I will do a Portuguese version for mine 🙂
Nice video!
Could you please tell me the brand of the crash bars you got on the bike? I would really like to put 'em on mine too!
Thanks!
@@DavidePennaAudiorizonStudio Sure, I think they are HEED. Cheers
@davesimmons-aclassicmotorc5812 thanks a lot mate!
Thanks for the info… always liked the 650., so at some point will be looking for a clean G.
@@christianweller4288 Hi, great, glad it’s useful to you, both are really good bikes, obviously a G is more expensive as it’s newer.
So, on one of these 650s, how many miles/km is too many?
@@47f0 if it’s got service history I’d buy one with 50K miles, should be good for another 50 at least.
