I Love the 106! Back when i used to have one I put it on a stock Seiko SKX Jubilee, was very easy to get the end links to math the curve of the 106. It looked great.
I got my black Casio last week. It’s a really beautiful watch, I was blown away when I opened up the box how great it looked regardless of price. I like the supplied resin strap it’s really comfy but I’m going to order some Vario elastic nylon straps to try. Going to buy the blue watch next week.
The Casio Duro is a good value watch and fun to play with. The factory strap is OK, but a NATO or leather strap is much more comfortable. You will like the Blue dial.
@@WrongTimeWatch I understand the watches short comings compared to a high end watch, I have some nicer watches with better specs, but these short comings are easily overlooked for what is a great looking diver with quartz consistency. Would love if the name CASIO was applied rather than printed but I can still overlook this. Lume is of no bother to me so I don’t care about that. If it gets knocked around I will just buy a new one every year.
thanks for doing this. I got a black with blue stitching one for my batman version and a bracelet with engraved marlin for my all blue one...like the vintage grey suede too.
People call these beaters, and I was gonna pick one up for that purpose, but it's too beautiful. I purchased a Citizen Promaster Lefty Auto to become my beater, but that one is too beautiful too lol.
LOL, might have to buy another duro. Once for everyday, and the other one to keep nice. Kind of like wearing your old jeans for working on your car, or outside work.
For me it was a bit big too. I tryed the Casio MTD 1053 black and silver divewatch. It is only 40mm and have a wonderful dial. I am verry happy with it.

Yes, I think so. The nice thing about straps is you can change the look of the watch without spending too much money. Although with the price of this watch, there are straps much more expensive than the watch.
Most of the straps look good; especially the tan leather variants. The NATO straps are the exception; look horrible with the loops sticking out. That lighter tan colored rustic leather is excellent. 🤘🏻
I do like Nato straps but I don’t like it when they are so long that they have to be tucked back in the keeper which makes it look bulky. I bought some 10 1/2 inch Nato straps on Amazon for various watches and they are a perfect length without the need to tuck the ends in.

It looks a little big on you, I'm the same; small wrists. I hate those silicon straps for all the lint it attracts. Is that sapphire domed? It looks great. It seems counter intuitive but I've found bigger watches look better on natos on my smaller wrists.. Hides the over hang maybe. Natos for the win. Zulu was the worst.
I have to disagree. I miss the marlin too, and I'm glad I got my old-school one early. But the new one has those bezel inserts that more than make up for it, especially the pepsi bezel, that thing is beautiful. Hell, I wouldn't mind trading up at the next opportunity.

I have a 7.5 inch wrist. My wrist does not even look big. This watch looks awesome on my wrist, it wears perfectly.

As a petite asian guy it's a bit too big for me, hope they make smaller version 39-40mm.
I know right like I have an 8 inch wrist, but I like smaller watches around 40.5 to 42mm at most.
6.25 inch wrist, and this watch wears fine.

Size is good for me i love how the strap becomes as wide as the lugs i need to replace my strap and am finding it hard to get oem quality
I don't believe that there are any aftermarket straps with the same shape as the factory strap.

Maybe its just me, but i like to put a 20mm strap on the duro, it makes the 44mm watch fit smaller on my skinny wrist for some reason.
