Thank you so much! Keys 3 and 9 at the same time which brings up the reset menu. There's no way we could have figured this out. I just got a new belt unit and this was not included in the instructions or the first video that says how to reset, but doesn't tell you how to find that reset menu.
Gary. I have the mfc-9970CDW, Firmware P and Sub Firmware Version : 1.10. I want to duplicate what you're doing in this video for the drum unit reset but Machine Info -> Parts Life there is no reset choice. The keys 3 and 9 don't seem to do anything. Do you know if there is another key press solution to expose the hidden menu? Thanks
