Wifi isn’t the best for me cuz i do not have good wifi as I used too, so I resorted to what you have done (just not a hotspot), and used data (5G). It won’t notify you but what I do to get instantly alerted when there’s a snkrs pass is follow SoleLinks or SNKR_TWITR on Twitter and turn on notifications so that way you are always alerted😅
You can go to Twitter and follow SoleLinks or SNKR_TWITR and then turn on notifications for both so you don’t miss out. They are instantly fast in their announcements.

If you have an Iphone, turn on Face ID or Touch ID in SNKRS settings. Then next time, it will memorize your 3 digit card when you are about to submit your payment👌🏽

You can also try restarting the app to see if it worked. Try going to the Nike app as well and see if your card information is saved on their as well and maybe it might do something.
Depending what region you are in, it can vary. Sometimes they like to switch it up and do like “Southern California” as a separate drop. They also do like “NYC” by itself too. So honestly I can’t really tell you an exact time when they drop. I usually just follow solelinks on Twitter and turn on notifications to get instantly alerted when something drops.
What I can say is that the snkrs pass usually starts at 1:15 est for the West region and from there on out, it can be hourly that they announce the other regions. Best of luck tho hope you reserve a pair🙏🏼

I would also go on another phone at the same time just in case one loads slower than the other. Personally I have more success like that when I use two phones. Most importantly just be really fast confidentially and don’t panic👌🏽
