Wish these were kits I could buy. I know half of this hobby is creation and building. And I am afraid a kit would not do justice to the love and skill put into these birds. But It would be nice to have one.
Fun fun fun. This to me is what the hobby is all about. These models are a credit to you, little works of art. And to end with that beautiful sunset. Mmmmm. (Is the plan for the fat piper cub available as a plan). Thank you.
Terry, there is no plan, but i should have the templates to cut the foam . Require some skills to make her from there. In case you are at rcgroups you could send me a private message there including yr. email-adress.
We would all agree that in the spring of 1940 Alexander Kartveli came up with a great idea: the P-47 Thunderbolt and it flew and it flew and it became one of the best all around fighters. Through the years bright people copied the plans of the P-47 and made great models of various scales. Now we have even greater people who trashed the scales and come up with an even better model: the "Fat Fighter" and they are beautiful to see and are amazing to see flying with the greatest of ease. Now what I would like to see is an exact (with every detail) full size "Fat Fighter" in the image of the P-47 , registered and with a real Pratt & Whitney R-2800-59 18-cylinder air-cooled radial piston engine as in the real P-47. It should by all account, fly as gracefully as these little wonders. So, who has the balls and lots and lots of money to bring this real "Fat Fighter" to the skies ? I love these little "Fat Fighters".
Few of us have cartoon pilots, but most of us fly 3d-scans of ourselves, printed, thermoformed from there. That's, in our case, cartoonish enough. :-))
Awesome planes! Ya'll need to cut a deal with a good manufacturer so others can buy these (as some of us aren't that great and building our own from scratch)

Stuka is part of The Legendary FAT Fighters squadron and short kit (milled depron parts) for skilled builder will be available at www.scale-parkflyer.de anytime soon. Frank (owner) is working on it. Date not known, as real FAT FIGHTER pilots do withstand pressure really good. :-)) Stay tuned.
