I love that you said that. I remember in the og days of SSLP, MMLP, TES.. I would sit in my car for hours, playing the songs over and over, catching more bars, tricks, word play, cadence, doubles, etc. with each listen. Mind you this was back when he wasn't as deep into the lyrical craft as he in now, but still.. he had that effect. I would struggle through songs, just like our reactor up here, 20 years ago, even through many listens. Years later, and I'm still occasionally catching new bars in his older stuff that I've long since memorized. Along this journey, it has never ceased to amaze me how his music has such high replay value, and not only as a rapper, but as an artist in general. There literally will never be another.
