This looks... rather easy to play against. Around the level of medium AI minus the aggression. Damn you, anxiety!
Thunder Soul lol! Yes my expectations of irl playersis always way scarier than the AI I’d play against. Went like 4 months of Team Fortress 2 bot matches before I worked up the courage to play online.
If you can reliably beat hard AI you’re in a good spot to start ranked. Other than weird cheeses and all ins- which the AI doesn’t do.
@@DoABarrelRol1l agreed. I just picked this up recently and played the ai for 10 days to unlock ranked (free version). Got placed in silver 1, got gold in a couple games, and plat a week later. I've been plat for 2 days and admitted plat isn't very high and don't think I can get higher than plat 2 at my current skill, but it shows there's a big bunch of players you can beat just learning to macro vs the ai.
@@fangiscool1 Apparently after wining 3 of 5 1v1 matches (more than I've ever played in a week sitting before) Bliz placed me in high Diamond.
Haven't played much since but I get whalloped after the 8 minute mark by players with better macro micro and over 3x my apm. Satisfying when I pull off a win on them.
But yeah; most players are terrible at this game. Just watching Winter/ pro-casted games gets you a huge leg up in knowing what practices are good/bad.
@@DoABarrelRol1l well tbf if you dont have the COURAGE to play the game, you likely wont make it very high anyways. like team fortress 2 was one and still is one of the most casual games. edit: i just simply dont understand the mentality of "oh, multiplayer, fuck that. that means REAL PEOPLE." i dont get whats so scary about a fucking person. and the medium and hard ai is really a joke, btw.
And welcome to another video that showcases another game where you have to question whether or not a "Victory" screen is really justified.
Not because the players are bad, but because there are no Protoss, so in that sense there is no winner.
Alas, a protoss victory is truly no victory at all! These young cadets are still in training, but are bright prospects.

The real problem with mobas is that someone leaves the game and you have to wait for 40 minutes for the enemy team to end the game cause you know your team will NEVER SURRENDER!

Love the commentaries going through all. I started back playing SC recently. I can't believe how popular a practical 22 year old game is with just basically a graphics upgrade and changes in gameplay based on balance and units. I last played brood war 2001 and a random SC video popped up I watched it and decided to play again. I would certainly make a good replay for bronze but I'm not as terrible as some of the things I see these people doing. I would ask u tho not to insult us for low apm I've seen pro SC players how they just click away at the keyboard and I'm like wtf their brain is a computer. Make fun of our shitty gameplay but come on give us a break on apm we can't all be super human.

I feel like these are the guys that you never hear about but fail the easy mode campaign... and then they get the genius idea that computers have way too high APM and are scripted too hard, so maybe if they play against other people they'll have a better chance... which is actually genius because they're right! humans do indeed have the potential to be worse than easy campaigns
