I am grateful to have the savior In my life, I was homeless for 10 years living on the streets couch-surfed finally living in a van, while having to watch my back yet I kept praying, going to church, feeling the spirit, and knowing our savior is with me and helped me with a new life.
Romeo my heart goes out to you. I am blown away that you held on for soooo long. What a great example you are to anyone wanting to give up. God bless you. I pray you will continue to feel His love.
Dude..., YES, stay on the bath brother, Don't let trouble drag you down NO more! You've showed me that there is true HOPE in GOD. Thank you for your honesty and testimony. Thanks again for your testimony and your beautiful spirit.... you've given me HOPE!!♿✔️🤟
I left the church right out of high school. I just found Jesus again after a lot of years without Him. I've done it both ways, with and without Him and all I know is the dark is a lot darker without Him.
Amen! That part gave me chills. I could feel the truth of that statement. What an inspiring soul. You know he had to be prepared for such a mission on this earth to go through all that! To get out of that hell and turn to Christ after all that is an incredible testimony!
This brother reminds me that a saint IS a sinner who keeps trying. Even while having joined the church, he still eventually fell into very bad addictions and despair once again. I can relate and hate to say I have felt somewhat worse.. The church isn't the church without the ever enduring strong hearts and continuing, dedicated faith of its loyal members.. Even ones that can still screw up like everyone else. Just as me and this inspirational brother have. I WILL continue to hold to the rod. I know personally myself, I've slipped off the path many many times. I've sunken or fallen into many dark, familiar intoxicating mists in my life that keep returning to haunt me.... Lds or not, DON'T let yourselves be so discouraged brethren. Never give in to that it's too late or point of no return bullcrap. We ALL can change..God speed 🙏🏼💛
In overcoming the "why me?" "victim" attitude, stacking it as part of the wins under your belt, you have indeed kept hope alive. Well done and may more miracles attend your prayers.
What an amazing story!!!! I love it💜💛♥️ My father was an addiction recovery leader missionary as well! He LOVED IT! He loved it soo much that he did it for 8 yrs! It not only helped others. It Helped himself as well! I attended the meetings also because I'm an EX-Addict as well. I've now been 12 yrs clean! It IS POSSIBLE!!! My life could not be any better now! Thankyou for sharing your wonderful inspiring video!! Good 4 you!!!🙏
Before I watch the video I just want to express how much I love Jesus Christ ❤️ he never leaves me even when I'm in my darkest of moments.. feeling so alone. He always lets me know, that he's right there with me
I too was an addict and fought and had miracles happen to me I completely understand your pain and your humility thank you for sharing your testimony and your story I too feel that I am ahead of the game I've been to the temple I try hard every day some days it's not easy I rely on Jesus to help me he always does there is hope there is success
I used to run those classes you took in drug court...I worked mental health court which is basically the same thing. Good for you! This is such a great testimony! I know where you're coming from for sure.
Never quitting is an absolute necessity to come out with the win. Even then, we cannot do it ourselves, we must have God on our side, and we need to ask.
I was so poor that I begged on the streets and Jesus was always there but I couldn't see him,so bogged down in depression that it took me yrs to finally find my God. I'm blessed, today I have finally found my father,my Lord God. Jesus Christ.
I can't relate to his story in any way as I've never had experiences like his but I so needed to hear him and Him today. I am so grateful for Saints who are willing to share their stories because it can touch someone in a way that prompts them to remain hopeful and to make necessary changes. Thank you Moroni and thank you Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The part where he said “I remember you and I’m with you” made me feel a bunch of good emotions and made me cry. I know Jesus Christ will be with me in everything I do and that in everything I do I remember him. I also know that he will strengthen me by praying and doing the things of the Lord. I remember experiencing doubt in my life and going through depression, but God never left my side and I pushed myself to pray more often so that I’m always on the right path. During my institute class today someone shared that it is also okay to cry when we are feeling down or doubt, it is normal, but God with always be right next to us (almost like he is literally next to you). One thing that I remember is that Jesus Christ is like our missionary companion. He will always be there for us like a missionary companion is. I’m very thankful for being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also super grateful for all the many amazing testimonies of everyone. I can testify that God is always with us and will never leave our side no matter what we go through. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. ❤️
I’m so great full to Jesus Christ, for His love and care for ALL of God’s children, including you and me. Keep on the narrow, covenant path my brother! God is ALWAYS there for you
Amen because all you needed was to have faith in yourself and in our Heavenly Father and in our Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ and thy Holy Spirit above themselves Amen
Moroni, I knew I recognized you from the 12 steps from recovery video. Your story really stuck with me. I'm glad you made it through. I'm glad your life changed. You're a good man.
I "played in the jungle" for a period of time, and had 2 marriages with some pretty hardcore men as well. Both wound up in divorce (of course), but I was able to get clean 15&1/2 yrs ago, and forgive them/be friends with them both. God showed me how over time, and one has since passed, and the other is still in & out of prison. I minister to him through letters, staying clean, and being an example through Christ. We'll never be together again because I've grown into a very different person, but I'll be the best friend I can be to him for Jesus.
“It took a lot of commitment, a lot of praying, a lot of begging for help...as long as I kept going...I continued to have the hope I needed to win.” I love that. “Jesus is in the ring with you and with me” I know this to be true.
How much joy brings to my heart to hear his testimony and see the love of are Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for each one of us and they never ever giving up on us.
Great testimony! That was really neat, feeling like a grain of sand among many on the beach, & then the dream. The poor me syndrome is our current popular culture. Victimy, being easily offended, people feeling like they have to walk on eggshells around each other. Yet people have never had as many comforts & opportunities & so much stuff.

Thank you for this!
Great testimony, very encouraging Heavenly Father can overcome all things, great video,it would take a God to deliver me , so true great statement. Thank you Jesus.
I bear solid testimony of God’s ability to transform us through the Atonement and sacrifice of His perfect Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, as well as our ability and privilege to help others transform their lives through His grace and mercy.
"I frequently prayed in my cell and asked the Lord for a miracle. I remember asking for the God of Israel to come and do battle for me, cause I knew it would take a God to rescue me. My cell turned into my sanctuary. I would pray, read scriptures, and have spiritual experiences, all the time surrounded by prisoners who didn't even believe in God. It was my only escape. When the other inmates saw that I was praying, they taunted me, saying 'Why are you asking for Jailhouse Jesus to come rescue you. Man up. You are going to do 15 years.' In the bleakness of the night surrounded by concrete and bars I remembered a dream I had years before. In my dream the Savior came across a long Beach and He found me, and He picked me up with His two fingers and looked at me and called me by my name and He said "I remember you, and I'm with you." Those words gave me strength to fight another day. I also remember my trainer Frankies words. 'The fight comes from within boy'."
Thank you for bravely sharing your inspiring story and for not giving up. Your strength and testimony will help many. May the Lord continue to bless you.
This is an amazing testimony of the power of Christ. He never gives up on us. Many people who say they believe in Christ give up on others. It is my testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and that people we think can't be redeemed can be. God loves us. He is able to redeem. We must turn our hearts, minds, strength and will to Him. When we do He will direct us. He is in the ring with us. Money and power currupt us unless we remember Jacob's counsel. Addictions can be overcome but addicts require love, and knowing we will never give up. Never, Never, Never give up. He will come. Thank you for your testimony.
This video was incredible! I also spent most of my life searching and not finding answers to questions. I investigated many faiths, and it was my belief in Jesus Christ that help me through the dark times. I am very grateful then when I was 19 years old, a member of the church had the courage to share the restored gospel with me. I now bask in the light that I have been given. Light is exactly the word that I would use to describe the experience I had that helped me know for myself the truthfulness of what I was hearing. For those still in darkness, I promise you that if you look to God as this man did, as I did, by studying his word and also by listening to his servants, you will find light and truth. Then, our consistent and persistent running to the light leads us to God, who blesses us with a joy beyond all you or I could imagine.
Wow, this was incredible! I can’t almost express how great this was! Thank you so very much, brother, for your story about your life and your testimony and your work and service for our fellow brothers and sisters!!!! Thank you to you and your wife and may God bless and keep you and keep you strong in the gospel and keep you strong to serve others to help others! I love you! As Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you both!
Indeed it only takes a God to rescue each one of us in our battles, thank you for sharing your inspiring story. Both Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ loves you & knows you by name, continue focusing on the things that matter to them the most.
