I think “The Boy who Fell from the Sky” is a reference to Oscar’s role as Dorothy to Ozpin’s wizard. Fell from the sky like Dorothy did when she landed in Oz.
A mysterious figure "collecting" people with powerful/rare semblances... sounds like a good future villain that should definitely be shown in the actual show.
Arno Wisp And Carmine and Bertilak were taking the Caspians to the western coast of Vacuo, and u know what landmass is closest to the western coast of Vacuo? The dragon continent that Salem could be on.
Wait the book Blake was reading might be a reference to a real book called "The Girl Who Fell From The Sky" And events from the book might foreshadow future events In rwby
woah, the faunus info about being compared to animals and such paints the whole laser pointer thing from yang and "she does like tuna a lot" remark from ruby as being really racist...yikes. (also rwby chibi.....) Also, I can't beleive team brnz is dead omg!
Wow. Definitely sounds like a good read. I’m surprised it’s in the 300 range as far as pages go. Would also love an audio version. And if we do happen to see that worm in the future, to negate the acid damage, I hope we get more silver eyes action
Hey, B-something and Carmine's boss is interested in people with powerful semblances right?.... Ruby's Silver Eyes and Jaune's semblance are both very powerful... as is Yang's. Also it's PRESUMED that Team BRNZ is dead, not 100% confirmed. So there's a little bit of hope ? *puts on hopeful face*
Velvet I think is the human/faunus hybrid I heard rumors about... Also we may get her backstory and maybe Coco's full backstory in future novels. Maybe with them being nearly kidnapped since their semblances are pretty powerful. Velvet can literally wield a weapon as well as someone who has had decades of training without ever touching such a weapon prior and Coco can manipulate dust.
I hope they'll introduce some crime bosses in the thing. To be honest...al this thing about big evil trying to overrule the world has become really boring. The best villians were Jr and Roman...they were funny violent entertaining....and pratically did nothing.

I think that worm (or wyrm? Not sure but would make sense) Grimm is one we might've gotten a hint at in the show In Weiss' character short from Volume 5, there's one Grimm that's burrowing underground but we don't see what it is I always thought it was one from Vacuo lol
I love the video it was brilliant. but hate to kill the mood. Weren't semblances supposed to be linked to personality and unique to each individual? or is this a case of it can be very similar but not identical?
Food for Thought: If someone’s collecting semblances, it’s possible they’re doing experiments on them. That means they’d have some background in science. It’s possible that our not-so-friendly Atlesian Scientist is behind this, which would be a very cool way to bring CFVY back into the show, with them getting on Watts’s trail, and inadvertently stumbling upon Salem, or catching up with team RWBY.
James Manes as far as i know telepathy means "can read minds". just the sentence makes little sence to me because you can t describe how someone looked at the moment if you are blind.
I know is almost impossible but I'm a bit sure that if the novel read by Blake does not refer to someone's past as a boy but just use the word boy I believe somehow it could refer to Roman.
Kinda sad that most of the worldbuilding for Vacuo and more info on Grimm is relegated to WoR and this book. Damn RT, you just can't be damned sometimes?
Honestly, I think that writer handled CFVY not really well. I have no probs with team's actions and chemistry in the main root of the book - I mean, during their adventures in Vacuo and this particular mission. But their behaviour and perfomance BEFORE the Fall? Especially right before and during the mission on the settlement of Lower Cairn? I know about battlestress, exaustion, overruned-by-Grimm-state-of-affairs and other stuff, but by NO MEANS it was work of the "beast team" of second-year Beacon Students! And if Velvet and Fox handled themselves relatively well, when we see - in the MINOR part - Yatsuhashi and ESPECIALLY Coco? It's incompetence and unworthiness as a Huntress and as a leader, plain and simple. I mean, even on their intitation RWBY didn't make such a mess out of their actions, let alone other missions. Plus, I have some personal bones to pick with some parts of others chapters, but only because information in those parts severly contradicts some plotpoints and statements in my AU-headcannon, so please, pay it no mind.
This book is out in Canada for those watching this before June 25th!

The ability to block semblances would be useful on emerald.
The book on team SSSN has to be called "The SSSN Also Rises".

Reminds me of All For One from My Hero Academia.
Or could just one of Salem's goons.
Remember this "villain" had an interest in the mood bombs attracting Grimm. Only Salem wants something like that
