While I'm no Djokovic fan, I can admit that I like his attitude towards the Olympics. So many top players treat them as a second tier tournament, when it's so much tougher to win than a GS (you have many many more chances to win a GS than the Olympics, because you have 4 GS every year and only ONE Olympic tournament every 4 years). Would be nice if other top players took a leaf out of Djokovic's and Nadal's book, they are the models to follow in tennis, without a doubt.

I’m a Rafa fan. Not to be the barrier of bad news but I think Rafa will pull out of singles. Got a small injury that was confirmed today, form isn’t good, doesn’t want to risk the doubles and doesn’t want to get smoked by Djoker.

It is now possible on clay cause Nadal is too old and too worn out (peak Nadal would be the favourite with off course some chances for Nole) and also cause of that Nole will win in 2 - if there will be such match cause I doubt it.

That would be a sight to see them both on the court for as Novak puts it. "One last dance for both." Enjoy the last of the big four as they are all close to retirement. Novak may hang around another year, but it wouldn't surprise me if he called it quits after this year.

Novak talks about the importance of Olympics and some of his delusional fans tell us no one cares about olympic lol
Djokovic wants to win it because he's patriotic but he realistically has had 4 chances to win it. As a comparison Nadal had 70+ opportunities to win one of the Big Titles of Miami, ATP Finals, Paris Bercy, win in Shanghai and never did it once - that's 18 times the chances to do it (or Federer with Rome and Monte Carlo 40+ chances) and the masters have mostly bigger fields (96 entrants and qualification differences and that's why the Olympics had 750 points not 1000 when it had points). Andy Murray isn't better than Fedal because he won the most Olympic singles titles at 2 and Fedal are certainly not better than the GOAT Djokovic.

@@Mythos189 see above. 4 chances in 20 years vs 70+ or 40+ - it's simple maths that even a very young person could understand. also the conditions of the Olympics (except for this case and London 2012) are often random and unfamiliar - for example in Tokyo it was 35 degrees / 95 f and over 80% humidity which are NOT the conditions that any tennis tournament are normally planned to be held in. p.s. Olympics was on grass in 2012 at Wimbledon also.
