Emergency: How to remove a horse shoe

If you own a horse that is shod, at some point of time, you will have a horse that will lose one. But, what do you do with a shoe that doesn't come off all the way? You become the solution and remove the shoe. Rather than risking your horse stepping on one of those loose nails and possibly breaking up the hoof wall and making it worse than it already is.
