Is it legal to not put in the baffle here in switzerland? And once I installed everything, can I just go to tüv to get it checked or do I need some paperwork? What was your experience like?
@@DJAntivenom its ilegal to drive around with the db killer in switzerland, but i tested how the sound of the exhaust without db killer. Great choice, imo leo Vince or arrow are the top quality and best looking pipes for the 09. For the price point the black widow was my choice about a year ago. Love your vids brotha.
Just watched this. That is unreal. Tuned for the stock settings. I'm thinking about getting the 2024 tracer 9 gt plus or either the mt10. I think I would rather go this route rather than buying a full exhaust and then having a remap done. We'll see.
Was just about to ask if there is a baffle that can be removed, and reached the point where it was removed. Only way to ride this is baffle off, baffle on is not enough grunt
that bulge in the pipes just before the carbon fibre exhaust canister, is that a catalytic converter? if so, wouldn't it make more sense to place the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter as well as before so that the ECU can reference how much it needs to change the air/fuel ratio to compensate for pollution laws (and other extras like fuel economy etc.)?
@@MotoSouth well atleast that answers one of my questions, the other one though you don't need to answer, that was just me being fussy with logic and stuff ^.^
Very nice install and video. It looks great on your bike. Surprisingly, or not, the weight savings is my biggest motivating factor. Sadly, The high costs( exhaust and reflash) versus 2-3 HP gain and weight savings, is not a big enough factor for me right now. Maybe once bike is paid off. LOL
The LeoVince is almost a 10hp gain. Reflash isn't required but will help to get a little more out of it. I will probably eliminate the AIS as well to stop the popping you get with aftermarket exhausts on deceleration. Thanks for watching 👍
I, literally, only ended up doing an exhaust because of the drivers out here in Arizona. Coming from Cali, it was unreal the difference in awareness whether or not you believe in exhausts saving your ass from time to time. That said. These bikes sound pretty cool with the cp3
Most bikes have the ability to adjust for the small changes caused by replacing the exhaust. You will get more performance with a tune but running without won’t cause damage

Hello, very good vid thanks... You say that the exhaust is designed for no need to remap or flash the ecu to install? Also how do you keep the exhaust studs and bolts in such a good clean condition?
Is that a catalytic converter on the new pipe? Two Wheel Obsession got the ECU flashed, dyno'ed and it didn't make a difference. I would save the money.
Yes nice pipe,,, sounds great,,, I went for the black widow pipe,, has more ground clearance,, and sounds good,,not as good quality as yours, but still sounds nice,, and the height issue,, your pipe seems a bit low to the ground,, but still great,,
People should know that Leovince welds in the baffle, and you have to dremel out the screw... which is close to impossible without destroying the exhaust.
Not needed with any exhaust. The ECU can compensate for an aftermarket exhaust. If you want the full performance benefits of the exhaust, a flashlight is required.
Have you sat on one yet? I like kawis, but yamaha is my brand. I sat on a z900 and it looked like a big shiney piece of plastic. I don't know, kawi makes some sick engines thoe.
It's a high flow catalytic converter. So in a sense yes but from what I understand, only there to appease EU regulations. There isn't much information about it on their website.
Can I asked how you narrowed it down to the Leo Vince? It looks/sounds awesome and I love your videos. Doing the research now on new exhaust but would love your input. 2020 MT09. Thanks.
Not really a fan of the M4 or any slip on for that matter. I worked in the motorcycle industry for 14 years and M4’s seemed to be too loud for my taste on most bikes.
Love your videos. I think you've convinced me to go with the same set-up for my 2020 MT09. Am I correct if I choose to leave the DB killer in I can run it stock (no tune) with no issues? And the Leo Vince doesn't need repacking every 10K like the Yoshimura does it? Thank you!

Baffle out wow!!! One of the best exhausts I’ve ever heard
Sounds great, I just fitted an Akrapovic Racing Line to my mt09 sp, it sounds so much better than the stock pipe, lots of popping and flames.

Does mt09 2018 needs Exhaust Gaskets? On amazon website just said that it compatible for 2014-2016
Gaskets should be the same for all year models
Before the muffler what you called that round muffler on the middle?
It’s a small catalytic converter
Does that have a catalytic converter on it? What’s the part before the end can?
It is a catalytic converter of some sort.
Is that a catalytic converter on the new pipe? Two Wheel Obsession got the ECU flashed, dyno'ed and it didn't make a difference. I would save the money.
I like the fact that a tune will allow me to do other things like have the fan come on at a lower temperature and smooth out the throttle response.

Does this exhaust require ECU flash?
None will require a flash but you will get the maximum benefits of the exhaust if you get a flash
Does the in house option for the akrapovic sound good? I'm really falling for this bike.
Akrapovic makes two different exhausts for the 09. I haven't heard them in person but the LeoVince seems to have a deeper tone.
where did you find the Exhaust gaskets?

Hi.. Great sound.. so the ecu doesn't need flashing with this exhaust??
