I don't get. Here is a guy who is trying to introduce RC to a segment of society that may not be able to afford the high prices of the big name companies. At one time I was one of those people. It was guys like him that encouraged me to try RC one small step at a time, and now I'm hooked! Isn't it one of the ideas of RC to try to introduce RC to the masses? Well that's what he's doing and I applaud him for it!!! Yet there are haters and naysayers trashing him instead of supporting him. Come on people lets help him introduce RC to as many people as possible. Mr. Random Reviews, keep doing what you're doing!!!

He is trying to make sales on the link he provides and can care less about if we get into the hobby or not. He gets a cut from the sales with that link. Agree and disagree, search for Kevin Talbot youtube channel for example, he shows, and really test cheap cars too. I watched another one here, testing a WLTOYS vs a Traxxas SLASH, the slash wasnt even on full power, so... whats the real test? Agreeing with comments here and other videos of him, you don't need to lie or exagerate, just show whats really happening, that's why i didnt subbed here and i'm subbed on Kevin Talbot.
*Not a hater here*, but I have an L969, and I feel you really messed up in this video... The shocks are not oil filled, and they bind with the plastic body of the shock. This is not a "prototype rc", and the chassis is an *almost direct copy* of the old Arrma granite. I used to love your channel, but now I just feel like your bias with WLToys, and you don't look at reviewing with an open mind. I'd recommend keeping the enthusiasm down a bit, and just explaining the RC without saying it's revolutionary. I have the L969, and it is like trying to keep a new chevy from falling apart. Also the battery only lasts around 15 minutes brand new, and as it ages then the battery only lasts 8 minutes.
Ive got the l979 pathfinder and its awesome, indestructible and customizable. The best car under 100. I got it for 70€. Eventually, the gearbox broke down after 2 years of usage. Anyways, i bought some new gears from ebay and repaired it. But the first thing you ned to do is change the crappy original cennector for classic T connector. You should also consider to change the shox as i did. I also put in a new battery.
This truck is 100% same truck as Lutema Big Bruiser I bought from Fryes electronics over 3 years ago, right down to the remote and tires and battery and shocks and chassis etc. The body is exactly the same as well except only difference is paint scheme
But a short course truck is completely different in size, weight, and handling than the L969. I have an arrma Senton 3s BLX and it flips over in high speed turns too. The L969 is a featherweight tiny light little rc that only goes about 14mph and has no steering at all.
How about the Vortex Truck? It´s smaller but for 40 bucks a great value. It has upgrade parts avaiable for cheap and the main drive shaft definetly has to be upgraded because the plastic will break soon. Otherwise the car is still cool but the steering isn´t very precise and can´t be trimmed very well. So it always goes a bit left or right. But 40 bucks! For a more premium feel there are options from Amewi (HSP) like the Terminator Pro but it will be much more expensive. And nothing can beat the good old Kyosho Mad Force with nitro engine
Forgot to mention the Lutema big bruiser is an excellent truck for beginners and Lutema did supply me with parts when I needed them. AND if you go to WL racing and search parts for l969, every part there is identical to lutema big bruiser so now I can get lutema back up and running for my grandaughter to play with :-)

As far as the first an the best in intro level r/c was nikko r/c. good beginning r/c. wltoys is a china base company. they are ok. but tend to be hard to get parts for if you break them. so tends to be bit more costly as you have to buy 2 of them at a time. this way something breaks you can replace it. but for now. if you like an want to make sure then this is ok. but their are many main stream r/cs that are also good for start off as well. but the big issue is look and find out what will work for your money. research your r/cs an look an see what breaks easy what runs good. an how you drive. a good wheelie is from from start. hit hard an watch it go. so enjoy and have fun. an YEA R/C
I found one in a good price and paid for it yesterday, and today they cancelled the buy due to defect product. now i cant find it anywhere in a good price. The Wltoys L212 is even harder to get at a good price... Bad luck so far

The chassis is a direct copy of the Arrma Granite. Reversing then slamming the throttle forward is a good way to rip up the transmission. I will assume your excitement is so you will continue to receive more free stuff from WLtoys It's ok and is probably fairly priced but there is nothing revolutionary about it and its speed is average.

With a lot of rc cars if u want to do a easy weely if u had a 4wd u just do a big reverse then gun the gas, and for a 2wd of it has a lot of speed just gun the gas
The Gaming Peeps, there are two different versions, I own the brushed version which tops out at 45km/h, but the brushless versions, is a upgraded version with a brushless motor and better esc, and it get up to 70km/h and would last a while, so I would suggest the Brushless version, which is called the WLtoys L212

Dude, FYI just so yous know a little something about performing a wheeler test. A real wheelie test is performed from a dead stop not while the vehicle is rolling backwards, which makes doing a wheelie almost guaranteed. What I learned from the video was that this guy who promotes these RC vehicles is being paid to promote these RC vehicles to the public as the next one-hit wonder in the RC world his over enthusiastic attitude about this product is almost sickening to the point that one realizes or has to wonder does this RC company pay this guy's Bill's? I sure hope so because this guy was way too enthusiastic about low grade RC vehicles new to the market. And that wheelie test was BS.
You right, she is great out the box. In stock form, she isn't as great as the GPTOYS S912 out the box. To see the full monster, switch her to brushless. Check out my Brushless L969 vid, with a full size servo. She is a beast on 3s😁. Wheelies on command, without having to hit reverse, and a takeoff like no other..GREAT VID👍👍. I LIKED AND SUBBED

Also the transmitter has to be a little less ancient and not as fat with a little more trims. They will need to brand their motors. They can start all this by getting some translater s for their websites and manuals to make them more lajitament. A database of replaceable and upgradable price.

I like WL Toys, and this truck is cool for what it is, but I disagree that WL Toys are hobby-grade. They are very good toys and the fact that you can get replacement parts relatively easily is awesome, but for $100 you can get into a decent used actual hobby grade car or truck.
for $100 there is no way you can find a DECENT "hobby" car...even used...as a matter of fact this is faster than many traxxas cars right out of the box and it costs HUNDREDS less....dont believe me? ill be doing a video soon putting it against a very famous traxxas car...and by definition this IS 100% a hobby grade RC...it has the suspension/speed/ replacable parts

Insane gearing reaching that kind of speed with a brushed motor.
