Watching this young man wait to get the one he wants is fun, but seeing Samong not take shots for brush or trying to make sure there is no cubs is great for young hunters to see and learn from. This whole family is great sportsmen with good ethics in the woods and just in life. Thanks again for sharing your adventures, family, and faith for everyone to enjoy and learn from. 🐻🎥💯👍💪🏽🙏🏻
Amazing footage as usual! You go above and beyond to capture beautiful video! Ethically and morally sound judgment, thanks for all you do. Stay safe and God bless
Nice that’s a lot of bears to see in a couple days. Good job passing on that one. When it’s so thick like that so hard to spot the cubs I like how you take your time to assess the situations.
Good job honoring your dad and not shooting junior… keep going Samong… you are showing everyone some things to aspire too. Blessings to you from a 66yr old subscriber.
I love your passion. I live in the NE, you and your family hunt correctly...love your work. Keep going and doing your thing. I very much enjoyed your emotions when you harvested that elk here...keep doing you
Your videos get me pumped for hunting season! In your muzzleloader elk video last year you had a slick setup to attach your tag to the antler. Where’d you get it?
Hunting like a true professional, I appreciate that samong didn't just go for "bear meat" he's trying to get trophy bear's that's worth a story telling
How old is your dad? The videos don’t do justice to how thick and steep those mountains really are. He moves like he is in his 30’s! Good content as always.
Wow, super cool footage! Hope your dad's ok. I know how he feels🤣. I really appreciate your videos because all my kidos can watch and there's no concern. From one hunter to another I would rather see you fill your tag than see the kill shot. Gods creation is amazing!!!
i love your hunting videos i grerw up in the molson chesaw area and my mom still lives there up on fletcher mt rd there are many more bears up there this year than in the last 20 years its crazy and there is a local herd of elk that is getting pretty big too....
Man I wish I was able to drag my dad out with me . I think he nearly died last time we went out ,we got to our spot and he told me he has his nitro pills in his upper poket Incase anything should happen lol he'll of a time to tell me he was having issues with his heart 😂 he was fine we had a good trip . Thanks for the vid you do an amazing job filming yourself It does not look easy. When the day is hot and I'm waiting for the day to cool that is my favorite time to do some photography
Great job buddy and I agree with passing on that bear! I think you made a wise move and sometimes we sacrifice a tag doing what we know is the right thing to do. Super great filming and I find that more valuable then taking the wrong bear! Blessings on the rest of your hunt buddy!!!💪💪💪💪💪💪🤛🤛🤛🤛🤛🤛👍👍👍🦃😁
@@SamongOutdoors Good deal. Last year the only good patch I found 'up there' was near Tiger Meadow. Judging from the sign I found there, I suspect there was a grizzly in that patch.
Awesome video! Get some stalking covers for your boots to use when you're on the logging roads. Carry the rifle in your hands in the thick stuff, things happen fast like they did with that big one. That's a great spot there. Good luck!
There's some great budget options out there. It just depends on what you're willing to spend. I use Vortex Optics so I would point you that direction. They just came out with new rangefinders this season. The Diamondback is a solid rangefinder for the price.
Can you go over your rifle setup? I have the same rifle and I would like to attached a bipod to mine like how you have your. I would also like to know how you set up your rifle to hang in instead on your shoulder. New to hunting and any advise would help. Loves your squirrels hunting videos btw. Thanks in advance.
Nice content like always. I like little ones now I'm in my mid 50 hunting in Wisconsin on public land going 3 to 5 miles not my thing no more....but up to the hunter. Wish you luck on your kill.🙏👍
ohhh buddy. That dark bear at the end- no cubs in sight. Good on you for not shooting but I know I was thinking, "take the shot, take the shot" the whole time it was at 15 yards
Hahaha. Not even finished watching yet but you getting pissed with your Dad killed me.We spend a coupla decades not listening to them and then they spend the next several returning the favor.Lol.Specially it seems amongst hunter n fisher folk
Hey man, what kind of optics are you using? Just got my 308 and I’m overwhelmed with the options. I went and got the Leopold VX Freedom but I think I need more zoom power.
For my riflescope, I have the Vortex Razor LHT 3-15x42 on this setup. It's my favorite hunting scope that I've used so far. I don't shoot animals beyond 500 yards, but it has served me well shooting at targets 600+ yards.
Good job. One thing you need to learn is to practice field positional shooting. Shooting off the bipod and pack and the cement bench rest is OK when sighting and verifying a zero but your shorting yourself by not getting offhand unsupported shooting skill. Simong, maybe get a good shooting sling and have fun. Couple hundred yards is a cakewalk. Keep up the great content.

Sometime the best days of hunting are those when no shots are fired. Got to love all the action. Can’t wait to see what else is to come.
Thanks for letting me come along. Great footage.
Amazing footage as usual! You go above and beyond to capture beautiful video! Ethically and morally sound judgment, thanks for all you do. Stay safe and God bless
Mr. Samoog youl should be a film maker 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Samong Outdoors = Binge watch

Awesome Jobe once again Sam and pops is a beast I'm so glad you are getting to share the woods with him I am 100% sure it means the world to him.
Good job honoring your dad and not shooting junior… keep going Samong… you are showing everyone some things to aspire too. Blessings to you from a 66yr old subscriber.
Nice !!! I saved it so I come back and watch it later as I get ready to squirrels hunting tmr NY opening
love the split screen at like 39 minutes with the Bee!

Your map guide is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! That is the Tag Wallet made by The Crazyelk Company. You can purchase it at www.crazyelkcompany.com/shop/
Wow! You're in a great area. It's just going to be a matter of time until you fill that tag. Good luck!
Hunting like a true professional, I appreciate that samong didn't just go for "bear meat" he's trying to get trophy bear's that's worth a story telling
The level of self control and patience OMG keep it up hope you get "big hank" soon 👍👍
hell yes! A Samong Video!
Going hunting for my first time in Oregon tomorrow ‼️🤞
You make very informative videos...
Good Hunting 🦌
Always enjoy your videos, love your camera work.
I went out last weekend and didn’t find anything but skat. Will try again this weekend.
Scat is a good starting point! Good luck!
Do you think predator calls are very effective this time of year in western Washington? I hear mixed things.
@@DunkyThicc We've had 2 bears come to calls so far this fall season. They were 'young and dum' sized.
Love the content like always!
That was a great hunt. You are an ethical hunter Samong.
Awesome video! Good luck hunting and can’t wait to see you tag a bear!
You found the real bearadise! Haha I’ve been calling my bear spots that! My wife said I was talking about some bearadise in my sleep😂
Also where can I buy that kestrel binocular stick thing?
Haha, you can purchase it at Kestrel's website. Check the description of the video!
So much fun. I want to go bear hunt bad. Thanks for the video very entertaining.
Pops was like I’m done 😂
Great video as always bro! Keep it up
Man, you gotta have discipline doing what you do..I'd be eating bear steaks by now 🙂
New sub ! Liked 🔥🙏🐸😉😂🙌😃😀

Just great contents bro. Keep grinding.
Great content bro! Thanks for sharing.
Other banger video my guy !!
Awesome content as usual 👍😁
Sweet video my man
Been waitn for a new video!
How old is your dad? The videos don’t do justice to how thick and steep those mountains really are. He moves like he is in his 30’s! Good content as always.
He really is still a stud hiking up these mountains. He's 58 years old.
Great content bro!
Nice grouse footage.
Big ears = small bear
Awesome Hunt!!!

Same! My kids enjoy watching and I can play them all with no concerns and plus I get to learn.
There doesn't seem to be a shortage of bears in that state that's for sure!
I feel so bad for your dad, but man he is tough!!!
He's fine, just trying to talk himself out of not going to the top of the mountain 😂
Good sportsmanship bro. Most hunters would've taken that shot! You deserve a bigger bear.
so if the season is over and you dont use your tag, do you lose it or roll over to next season?
@@josephsaeteurn9158 Tags are good for one season only.
Sweet video! What type and brand bipod is that?
Thanks! This is the Atlas BT10 bipod.
So many bears!
Great video
Fun stuff bud

Is that a 6.5 creedmoor rifle samong
Yes it is.
Nice what’s the setup you have on it
@@ar15onaoutdooradventures46 Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Speed with the Vortex Razor LHT 3-15x42
Did you put an moa chart on your butt stock?
Yeah, I did. Just got tired of putting on my lock screen on my phone.
You have huckleberries there? They barely exist in the Blues of SE Washington. I may have to switch to hunting in the Selkirks for this years bear.
Yes, there are hucks up here. It just depends on the year because some years, they seem nonexistent. They seem to be decent this year.
@@SamongOutdoors Good deal. Last year the only good patch I found 'up there' was near Tiger Meadow. Judging from the sign I found there, I suspect there was a grizzly in that patch.
I'm not into hunting, but this was damn interesting.
If I see a bear that size during archery I think I would have taken the shot especially at 15yds

Love it man great work nice hair cut 🤫😳🤪
Hi Samong. Could you confirm what brand and model are your ear plugs/hearing protection?
Hey Johnny, these are the Howard Leight protection bands/ You can find them for as cheap as $5 for one.
Samong, any advice on a less expensive but good quality range finder. Thanks

Bipod attaches to the front sling stud.
He uses a Kifaru Universal Gunbearer to carry his rifle
That's a lot of bears that you saw. Thought the one @33:50 was a grizzly at first with that color phase.
Might you mount your camera on your head, as, on a bicycle helmet?
What is the sling call that you put on your backpack the one that you have
Awesome
Dad's never listen. Lol.

The bear heard all that rattling of metal from the tripods!!!!!! Hell, any animal would have heard it.
It was meant to be because I'm glad I didn't shoot it lol.

What's a bruin?
Bruin = Bear
I usually bruw tea or coffee in the morning. Right now, coffee’s bruin.
I want to hunt really bad but I don’t know what places to go to in Washington

No rain gear? What?? Puffy pants, puffy jacket and rain gear are always in my pack! Nice bears, can't wait to see what you shoot!
