You are a lovely person, and a great human being, made me smile, again, bye bye :) Oh our rubbish bin is one week green bin for recycle, and the next week is black for rubbish, some every other week.
Haha I tried using a fire extinguisher before and it didn’t work that well 😂 I used to have so many stuffed animals but I just had to give away some of them 😂 Here we can throw burnable garbage twice per week and plastic once per week!
Have you considered one of those elevated beds that have space for a desk beneath it? Or one of those lower ones that at least have some drawers for clothes? Although that space is so small, I kinda would like to live somewhere like that. Looks cozy and would force me to be creative.
Haha it’s too small for me to be creative. I just sleep here so I thought it doesn’t matter whether it’s big or not. We can’t choose the bed soooo just have fo stick with these. But I think having those kinds of beds will be really hard for moving later 😂
Linh, do not underestimate that fire extinguisher. You may want to check out a video or 2 on how to properly operate the fire extinguisher and put out a fire. It could save your life. Great video!

I am watching you tube since not sure when, 4 hours daily. I am not sure how I never encountered your channel before. Not just because I have lived in Tokyo and find your videos very interesting but also because your style of talking is very neutral and soothing to ears, no stupid fake energy nor any attitude. Just listening you is very positive.
Aww thanks for letting me know that! My channel is just super small no matter how much I tried, it wasn't getting much views until recently! :) I got lucky and I'm grateful that my videos finally reached more people!
Fascinating stuff. It's always interesting to see how other people live in different countries, especially when that country appears to be so culturally different to your own. However, after watching many of your videos, I realise we are all essentially the same, with the same hopes and fears. Btw, I'm a bit of a tech freak so loved the intercom and toilets. Wish I had them in my flat. Enjoy your new space.
I just found your videos and they are so interesting! I just find contradictory how in Japan they give you a hard time (as they should) to get rid of furniture and stuff, yet they use so much plastic and make so much waste like those cleaning sheets, way worse for the environment. Anyway, great video.
This reminds me of staying in university halls of residence in the UK last year, but the girls you share with manage to keep it a million times cleaner than here omg 😭 Linh you and your videos are so lovely and comforting for me, a 20 year old who's also trying to find her feet in the world! 😪 keep going!! 💕🌸

Hi Linh, really enjoyed the tour around your apartment building and your room. I hope the people you share with are really nice and you can make some new friends. Your room is so tiny but you use the space so efficiently. Just love watching your videos and love your accent 😀 Take care 🙏
Oh yea about that, we actually don’t talk to each other at all haha which I kinda enjoy right now. Like I can live like I’m alone but at the same time I’m not alone in the house? 😂 if I feel like socializing more maybe I can move somewhere else later 😁
This was a really nice video. I had no idea what shate houses were or if they were very common in Japan. They arent particularly common in America. Hopefully you are able to get rid of the stuff you dont want or need and can utilize your bedroom space more efficiently. Im sure the longer you are there, the more it will come together. I hope you make friends with your new room mates and enjoy your time in your share house.

Yah why is that? I noticed also..i like when the toilet is filled with Toilet paper rolls. (My Ocd sorry) come visit Vienna austria. So i can tour you around
Ohhhh thank you!!! :) It’s just really expensive to live in Tokyo so it’s common to have small room. Sorry but I don’t do shoutout, but I can try other things! What kind of fan sign? :)

Your shared space or apartment is pretty clean and quiet compare to us here in Manila. Wherein not everyone are disciplined enough to clean their stuff plus the noises! Im pretty amazed how clean it is and looks like your co-boarders are not noisy, perhaps?
That fordable table is so cool! I’ll probably order one, so I can work from my bed more comfortably. 🤓👌✨ Speaking of comfort: I’d get claustrophobic in that share house. 😱 Everything is too small and I’d definitely need my own bathroom in the long run. 🙈 But I admire the Japanese ability to adjust to such a small space. How long do you plan to stay there? Btw, I just found your channel by accident and after watching just one video I already subscribed. Awesome informative content and I think you have a unique style. 😀👍
Yea I’m loving this foldable table!!! Soooooo convenient!!! Everything is so small and narrow it takes some time to adjust 😂 but now I’m more used to it so it’s pretty okay! I don’t know until when I will stay yet but I guess at least 1 more year? Will just move when I want to, but for now don’t really have a reason to move again yet :D Anyway glad you found my channel! Thank you for subscribing and watching!! 🙏
My dad made me one like that as the old one was taken by my brother (which he also made). But that one is quite modular. He made it using some nice wood and sunmica and added some niché features as per my needs.
Another great detailed video from you Linh. Thank you for taking your time and effort to make this house/room tour and sharing it with us. Big thumbs up! 😊👍🏼❤️
Great video! Very interesting to see :) I echo what most people have said about how it must be difficult living in a small place, but if you are used to it then I am sure it's not too much of a problem. Also great to see how clean the place is considering how many people live there!
Hi I’m from USA.. think you are Amazing..I couldn’t have moved to another country with a different language and accomplished The things you have... always stay positive.. look forward to your videos
So Great! i also pretty much always lived in shared house since i moved to canada and they are pretty much the same size soo i know the struggle lol. I hope your roommate are nice! overall it looks really cool. Also its cool that you do so many things by your self 😊😊
I’m so good at doing everything by myself haha 😂 i didn’t know that Canada have share house too! I thought houses in Canada are really spacious 😂 I never really talked with my share mates, but there’s a very nice lady on the first floor :)
It was under my previous company’s contract so I had to move. Also my new company is far away from there. And my previous place was spacious but was like out of no where and very inconvenient. It took me 3-4 hours to go to meet my friends so it kinda sucked. Now I can meet people easily and can go to places I want easily. Anyway thanks for subscribing!
All the space-saving things like that clothesline and wall-hanger strip. I think that your other place was nicer, but like you said, it's way more convenient and you have lots of neighbors to make friends with.
I think it's a pretty reasonable price, I'm in Australia atm and I pay in a share house with max 4 people and a lot of space about 60.000 Yen a month and my friends, who are living in a share house with max 12 people are paying 40.000 yen. And it's on the country side, 1,5 hrs from Melbourne city centre.
Ahh I see that’s really expensive too hmm. I’m so glad I found this place because I went to see 3-4 other houses and all of them were so old and the room was like 4-5m2... this one is definitely the best!
@@ChillWithLinh yeah, therefore I get 2.000-3.000 Yen an hour at work, so that evens it out. At least 38 hrs a week. Right now I'm on overtime, so I get 3.000 yen an hour. I think in Japan you get alot less.
This was so interesting! I need a little folding table like you have! ❤ I am from Northern Ontario, Canada, about 6 hours north of Toronto. And yes, we do get a LOT of black bears where I live, right in our yards and balconies (decks). Thank you for this video. One day I hope to visit Japan... One day 😅❤
I didn't see any bear when I was in Canada... but people talk about it all the time!! Whenever I went for a hike with my friends, people told us to bring bear spray 😂Hope that one day you can visit Japan!! :) Thanks for watching~
That's a good apartment if it's in the middle of Tokyo. Cities can be really expensive. My uncle is quite lucky as he got his house in a city like that back in the days when it was viable (PS he is very very very rich so it would not be a problem for him even today) he said he had offers around 12-15million$ but he just likes that he and his brother can stay together and is not planning to sell it anytime soon. Also you get all the bills included too so not much of a problem. Also I just got myself another smart tv for second floor just for movies and games. I totally understand the need of a big TV. I thought of getting a cheaper version and put something like an apple tv or some android set top box but it would look too bad so I ended up with a smart tv.
Wow I wish I could have a house haha 😂 maybe one day... Yea I really like my apartment!! And I also got a smart tv because it’s just soooo convenient :)
Hi, I came from the “day in the life” video Which was really cute and I liked how you took care of your self, so many people in my family don’t even do half of what you just did. And I was wondering How long did it take you to Learn English From Japanese And how hard was the process because the 2 language are so so different. Which language do u think is easier One day I would love to take a vacation in japan and I also want to learn how to speak Japanese so I can connect better with the people and respect them properly. Thank you! Can anyone help me with this?
I'm not Japanese so yea... I learnt English since elementary school and I have been using it continuosly since university. I started learning Japanese in university and now I'm using it daily at work so it gets better too. English is definitely easier for me. Japanese is a very hard language. The characters are really tricky. Just try learning Japanese online! Search on google I'm sure there are a lot of free courses :)
I've lived for around 7 months in a share house in Tokyo, a 1.90m guy in a 2x3m room 😁 in late september I'll move into another share house, still Tokyo but I hope in something bigger, even 30cm of additional space will do 😅
Hahaha wow I admire you for living for 7 months in such a small space... It must have been so hard 😂 i feel like social residence are normally bigger than share house so maybe you can consider that in the future? Living in Tokyo is soooo expensive 😂
@@ChillWithLinh Yeah I thought about that but like every social residence with vacancy rooms I've found is so far away from Omotesando (where my future workplace is located) that it isn't worth it. The prices around Omotesando, Shibuya and Roppongi are crazy, so I visited this share house that is 10 min by foot from the station and 20 minutes of train from Omotesando and ot seems quite good. Btw can't wait for another video 😁
I guess if you are just getting started out in your own life, and you don't have a lot of stuff to keep up with, and you want something affordable on rent, this is the way to go. It's not bad.
Hi! New subscriber here! I really enjoy your videos and i wanted to ask how did you study the language and how long did it take for you to understand it?
I studied it in university. We had Japanese language class and it's like any other classes so I took all of the Japanese classes. After that, I just studied through actually using it and through my work. I think after I took until intermediate I could understand what topic people are talking about, but not the details. I understand more after I start working. But like I understand more if it's a topic I'm familiar with. Even now if it's a topic I'm not familiar with, I don't understand everything.
Something I've noticed with these share houses is there's never a real bath. I've seen some like this with just the shower, and some with a shower/bath combo, but never with a separate bath. Is that pretty typical for these places? also, your room is really cute! it may be small but it seems cozy
yea it's common to noth have a bath. I think for a very big share house, sometimes they may have a big common bath but it's rare I guess. It's just too much and too hard to maintain :)
Hi Lihn, I just wanted to ask about the software that you use to edit your videos and what camera(s) you use the most for recording your videos? Thanks for sharing!
All of my recent videos are recorded by Iphone X. It’s just more convenient and gets the job done. And I use Final Cut Pro for editing, but any other editing software should work fine too
Good thing that you're in a sharing house.. You can meet new people.. It will help you to not get depressed again😇 By the way where's your water supply? I didnt see any water bottles. Drink water regularly😊
I find your place very nice and quiet and your room is very cute I like it(",). Thank you for sharing it to us viewers. Lulunis my name from the Philippines(",)
Hey Linh, The room is quite good, but I have only one question and that is why are you living in such a small place (ie room), your previous house was good and big and current one is a bit small, though I am no one to jugde and I find your house quite comfortable for one person it's just one question I had
It’s way more convenient than the previous place! It’s about the same price, actually the previous one is about 10,000 yen more expensive but it’s located in a very countryside area there wasn’t anything around. It took me almost 2 hours to come to Tokyo. Now I’m in the middle of Tokyo so it’s way more expensive but more convenient :)

Oh, Im jealous to know that 😂 anyway, thanks for your vids and you’re my new favorite youtuber. Keep it up, Linh!
I’m lucky to have clean sharemates I guess haha. Thank youuuu 💕
just got yourself a new subscriber 😊I love your videos ....looking forward to settle in Japan soon
Aw thank you! you’re gonna live in Japan? That sounds exciting
@@ChillWithLinh saving up some money first though😊
You are so sweet and kind .love your videos.
Thanks hehe 🙃
I hope you have a lovely time in your new place. I enjoy all your videos.
thank you~~ Yes I'm enjoying my time living here~
That fordable table is so cool! I’ll probably order one, so I can work from my bed more comfortably. 🤓👌✨
Speaking of comfort: I’d get claustrophobic in that share house. 😱 Everything is too small and I’d definitely need my own bathroom in the long run. 🙈
But I admire the Japanese ability to adjust to such a small space.
Will just move when I want to, but for now don’t really have a reason to move again yet :D
Anyway glad you found my channel! Thank you for subscribing and watching!! 🙏
My dad made me one like that as the old one was taken by my brother (which he also made). But that one is quite modular. He made it using some nice wood and sunmica and added some niché features as per my needs.
Congrats on the move and the new apartment!
Yayyy ✨ thank you Mai 💕
I love your tour videos, it's very thorough and informative. You answered all of my questions
aww glad to know that!!
New subscriber. I like you. The way you make videos is simple and great 👌✌
Thank you ❤️
Another great detailed video from you Linh. Thank you for taking your time and effort to make this house/room tour and sharing it with us. Big thumbs up! 😊👍🏼❤️
Thanks for watching!! 🙃
Great video! Very interesting to see :) I echo what most people have said about how it must be difficult living in a small place, but if you are used to it then I am sure it's not too much of a problem. Also great to see how clean the place is considering how many people live there!
Yea it’s clean and quiet so I never feel like there are 14 people in this house 😂
Hi I’m from USA.. think you are Amazing..I couldn’t have moved to another country with a different language and accomplished The things you have... always stay positive.. look forward to your videos
@@mackstar0078 thanks !! :)
So Great! i also pretty much always lived in shared house since i moved to canada and they are pretty much the same size soo i know the struggle lol.
Looks very nice and a lot of fun Linh. Enjoy!
Enjoying!! Thankssss :)~
About that workout first one is dumbbell rows . 2 is bent over flies and 3rd i forgot the name but you need move your hips up and down
Haha you know everything! I just keep forgetting what I’m supposed to do
@@ChillWithLinh its hard to learn workout from a drawing . there is app named nike traning club. It shows workout by a short film it can help you
@@pedramsonboli8339 haha it's fine. He showed me in person so I just kept the note in case I forget :D
It’s kinda nice living small and less cluttered. I’m currently the opposite, a lot of room filled with tons of stuff :(
Urgh it’s hard to stay organized and not piling up stuff though :( good thing is that I rarely do shopping so I have less things
Hi, Ling, new subscriber here. Why did you move out of your old apartment? It was spacious, very nice.
New subscriber. Loving your videos so far. I hope one day to visit Japan. Thank you for sharing
Hi~ thank you :) Hope you will be able to visit soon!
Great video Linh. It looks like the shared house is going to work out for you. Thanks for the tour 😁😁.
yes definitely working out!!
Great videos, glad to see you posting again. Keep going. Greetings from Belgium.
Thank youu 🇧🇪
new subscriber from USA 💕❤️ tysm for sharing I'm in love with your tour videos
Hi!! 🇬🇧 Thank youuuuuuu ☀️🌟💕
A very cool video! Lots of interesting things at your place.
Haha you think so? Thanks :)
@@aaronme haha yea... depending on the job and the company though... but I still think we earn enough to get by ;D
Your voice soothes me 😊😊
Good to know ☺️☺️☺️
This video was worth the wait! Thanks Linh!
Thanks for watching!! :)
I like the video as always, is good to know you found a place you feel a lot better, thank you for your videos Linh!
Thank you for watching and supporting as always!! :) yeaaa I’m so happy to live here everything just feels sooo good
I enjoyed this video linh. Keep up the good work.
thanksss as always
Hello Linh, very nice house 😊 Is my room ready for me to move in?
Hi, I came from the “day in the life” video
Which was really cute and I liked how you took care of your self, so many people in my family don’t even do half of what you just did.
And I was wondering
How long did it take you to Learn English
From Japanese
And how hard was the process because the 2 language are so so different.
Which language do u think is easier
One day I would love to take a vacation in japan and
I also want to learn how to speak Japanese so I can connect better with the people and respect them properly.
Chill With Linh lol,thx so much sorry for the misunderstanding
@20:21 my gf gave me those last year but I still haven't eaten it. I think my mum threw it away lol
Nooooooooo Alexxx noooo
@@ChillWithLinh hahaha soryyyy
We have the cleaning roller in the UK but actually just use it to take fluff and hair off of clothes or the sofa :) x
yea I think we mainly use it for clothes, sofa, bed sheet too 😂I don't really use it much for floor, I used to use this for carpet :D
@@davidecamurani7389 I see... hmmm.. I tried to look for social residence too but couldn't find any that is good, convenient and NOT expensive haha...
Wishing you the very best in your new place Linh, hope you settle in well. :-)
yesss everything is going well! thanks~~
Hi linh, i really enjoyed the video, i liked your bedsheet👌 where did you buy it?
It’s also from Nitori! You can find it from their online store website :) maybe they still have it. I bought it over 2 years ago...
I guess if you are just getting started out in your own life, and you don't have a lot of stuff to keep up with, and you want something affordable on rent, this is the way to go. It's not bad.
yea I think it's pretty good for this price, and I'm comfortable living here as well :D
I like to listen to your voice. Very nice.
thankss :)
@@ChillWithLinh thank you so much. I'm also studying it by myself and i hope one day I'll be able to visit japan.😍
@@ChillWithLinh That makes sense! I definitely prefer the regular showers over the combo ones, the baths get so dirty in those!
I think the microwave oven makes sense since it's unsafe to run it empty or with a very small load. Greetings from Cambodia.
Ah right... but it’s a bit inconvenient somehow 😂
Hi Lihn, I just wanted to ask about the software that you use to edit your videos and what camera(s) you use the most for recording your videos? Thanks for sharing!
All of my recent videos are recorded by Iphone X. It’s just more convenient and gets the job done. And I use Final Cut Pro for editing, but any other editing software should work fine too
Hey linh why did you disable the comments at your eye lens video by the way that video was pretty dope😂😂😂
I didn’t do that... I found out that youtube just automatically changes my videos setting sometimes 😂
@@ChillWithLinh 🤣😂🤣

Hey Linh,
The room is quite good, but I have only one question and that is why are you living in such a small place (ie room), your previous house was good and big and current one is a bit small, though I am no one to jugde and I find your house quite comfortable for one person it's just one question I had
convenience
It’s way more convenient than the previous place! It’s about the same price, actually the previous one is about 10,000 yen more expensive but it’s located in a very countryside area there wasn’t anything around. It took me almost 2 hours to come to Tokyo. Now I’m in the middle of Tokyo so it’s way more expensive but more convenient :)
@@ChillWithLinh that's nice we get to see more videos on central Tokyo then...can you make tour video around Tokyo..that would be awesome 😀👍
@chill with Linh ok I see your point and I agree with you and thank you for for answering the question 😁😁

I’ve never been to England before, would love to visit once! It’s actually not that bad to share the facility as not everyone uses it at the same time, just a bit inconvenient sometimes :D
@@ChillWithLinh My house is 'small' yet it's like a castle compared to these tiny places! And I would go mad without my garden..;-))
I’m wondering how much is the rent for a share house?
71,000 yen
