My dad still used a 5s in 2022 with its original battery and it lasted for his entire day, with the se 2020 he consumes 160% everyday. It’s crazy an old 5s lasts more than the se
I think the 5s lasts longer because apple was slowing down phones when the battery degraded, they stopped doing that since they got backlash and a lawsuit.
@@sweetly6588 well no shit sherlock, i was saying the 5s possibly lasts longer than the se because apple would adjust the preformance with the battery to make the phone last longer still.
I've not experienced the 80% cap, but I also don't use fast charging on mine. I've had it since 2020, and it's been a good phone for me. My only major complaint now is the battery life, but my capacity has been at 78% for months now. Waiting to see if they release a new SE or smaller iPhone again before I buy anything new. I don't want a bigger phone.
i've bought se 2020 (2gen) in late 2020. i've been using it for 3,5 years. for me this phone is alr. it does everything that honestly i need from my phone to do. battery life is shit but it lasts me for a day of my normal usage. it's smooth and it doesen't lag. it's much better than my prevous phone Xiaomi redmi note 6 pro beacouse this phone laged awfuly after a year and was unusable. i might upgrade it when the new se 4gen will come out. it sucks that there is no resale value on that but for 400$ it was a good phone for 4 years
I use phones likes these to make money. Basically paid of the se 3. Been thinking about picking one up for the phone farm, but iphones are not good for phone farming.
@@tabbypears Long story short you use apps that pay you for your time per minute. That is the true form of phone farming. The new definition is using technology to make "beer money". Bought SE3 and am currently using it to make money buy watching videos.
“It can also take bad photos”
I am sold.

Get him a iphone 12/13 mini, He will really like it
@@sweetly6588 yeah I’ll probably get him a 13 mini next year once his SE is completely unusable. He will not replace it until it’s dead

@@m1lohaan Haha really funny mate, the 12/13 mini last longer than the 5s garbage

me buying this phone yesterday and getting it shipped today 😅😅
A lot of ppl here still buying iPhone 11 for 400$!
i just ordered a 12 pro for $380 in basically brand new condition which is a much better option than the SE
@@nitroxylictv I'm fine with iPhone 12 because I myself using iPhone 12 mini
@@nitroxylictv the se 2 is only like 100 bucks
Yo love the videos keep it up man!!❤

You should look at the Mini iPhones. Smaller form factor with better specs and a larger display.
i bought this phone in 2024 and its so good, not the best but i dont need the best
The reason why the battery slows charging at 80% might be because optimised battery option is on
I turn that feature off on every device I own.

Just got one for $50. Battery health is at 82%. Is it worth it?
Yeah, that’s a good price. Any other faults?
BUY IT AS A SPARE PHONE
0:58 the processor of the se 3 is the iPhone 13 processor right
On the SE 3, it has the same processor as the 13, the A15 processor.

I’m confused as to what phone farming is

Sorry my auto correcting not working today. By not "buy"
I have it I go it new and it is fall parts
I agree, the se 2 sucks ass now
that's not really the point he was making though. he's not saying it got worse with time, he's saying it has a few issues that have always been there
