Amateur reviewer lol the armory crate is among the best software out there. You want bad software? Try legion space heck the legion go dont even have bypass charging. The secondary function mapping on the ally is HUGE, i dont see it in other handheld pc probably. You can use that and add more than 10 shortcuts essentially making pc game workable on a controller.

I don't agree, reviews usually mention how you can't edit videos with these machines or play the latest videogames. I think this is a machine for adults. I use mine everyday, I teach at a local university and walk with a big smile just knowing how light the laptop is along my 12 inch macbook. I love the long lasting battery and everything I need is right there: e-mails, excel, word, internet. They keyboard is perfect and is just the one of the best computers. I never think about what you call the huge bezels, it doesnt bother me at all. The sound is good and I can always use my bluetooth headphones. The screen is perfect and no, I don't edit photos with it, I use it for work everyday and never lets me down. I see all the students struggling with their windows laptops and their small batteries. I got mine for 100 bucks on ebay, I really take care of them I hope they last for a long time. I still have 2009 macbook pros which are built like thanks. Good job apple.

Finally you answered my questions. I received that MacBook pro early 2011. Did a battery and memory upgrade as hardware is concerned. I have tried with some success to use open core legacy patcher (OCLP) to upgrade the OS and managed to get Ventura to run. Little I knew, I couldn't make a Time Machine backup that the whole process collapsed and I'm back to square one. The original setup is a 750GB HD. I managed to upgrade the OS to High Sierra. Since most software I'm trying to run requires the next version of their OS, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. In your video you are mentioning upgrading it to Montery was a good move. I will try that.

Ah, your stutter reminds me of me a lot. Neat video though! The last Windows that is even remotely usable online is XP. RUclips absolutely will not work but some basic news websites will...with enough time. 2000 will just barely work if you load it up with third-party updates and installs. Vista ironically died faster than XP did, and 7 is still used by millions each day. 10 will hang around for a LOOOOONG time though, probably even longer than XP.

I repaired a lot of these back in the day. The hinges themselves, more than how they were mounted, were the problem. They had a tendency to bind up. I believe Apple did release a revision of them eventually. The matte screen definitely sold a lot of these. We used to leave one in the store playing Terminator 2 all day - I think that sold us quite a few of them. The speakers were also pretty good considering their size. This definitely was a sleek looking machine, and pretty powerful for its time, too. It's not hard to repair either. Pretty easy disassembly with a back cover that just lifted off after unscrewing. Later iBooks and MacBooks made of plastic had clips securing their back covers and were easy to scratch or dent during removal if you didn't have nylon pry tools and know where to apply force. The early 2000s were a really transformational time for Apple, they achieved huge success but still hadn't sacrificed their values of putting the user firmly in control of their computer and experience. Today's Apple is really unrecognizable to people like me who grew up with Apple computers at school and at home in the late 80s and early 90s.

I love the Titanium PowerBook G4 so much! I have two in my collection, and my first exposure to them was in the early 2000s when they were still recent. My dad had one that he got from work, and brought it around the house a lot when I was growing up, and my aunt had one as well. It felt so futuristic, especially compared to the G3s before it. Personally, I really like the transparent keyboards of these models too!

Their replacements are a rip off under certain circumstances. I bought a new phone when my old one was stolen. The new model was out for six months, it was defective so I went to get it fixed but instead they told me they are going to replace it. Not one god damn week old and they gave me a refurbished phone. Fuck you apple for not replacing a new defective phone with a new one. Apple has become super scum. It took the euro union to get then to drop their outdated overpriced lighting cable. Then they brag on their advertising on how great to have USB C.

Hello after 2 years. I have Iphone 14 pro and it's apple care plus ends on February 2025, phone is fine, but battery is draining fast and 83%. till February 2025, I believe it will not go below 80% (for free replacement). it will cost me 99$ to replace battery later on. I was thinking to use my apple care plus before February as Accidental damage and replace it for 99$. Would you recommend me to do so? now 16 series are available. thanks in advance for an honest advice!!!

I would have to disagree 100%. Been using this exact machine in my recording studio since 2013. It’s running Mojave with patcher and running off sata SSD. I have mechanical disks connected to other sata ports and running disks in RAID for my file storage. 8GB Radeon card for my three monitors and no complaints. 128GB of ram and 8 cores still runs heavy plugin workloads well and scores a 3300 on Geekbench CPU benchmark which is HIGHER than the MacBooks you mentioned. The slower clock speed means that the OS may seem a bit slow but it still works well for heavy workloads where the Xeon architecture excels.

However, over time each of these computers has one critical flaw, the video screen converter will always die. Currently, I am on my third unit but lucky for me the Ebay seller kept this one in "mint" condition and with the sale included its original box. Placed on its charging stand right beside my "glossy white" iMac is my "glossy white" iPod 5th generation. But for 600$, for a laptop that has specs of a 400$ laptop is not acceptable. But still not TOO BAD, cause i have used an HP Probook X360 11 G5 EE, and it costed like a thousand dollars, and you could buy another 360 laptop with those specs for 370$
