I’m really excited to see how the Tarkir set, Tarkir is one of my favorite sets so I’m really excited to see how they do this. I think a neat gimmick for the commander decks seeing how weird time is in tarkir’s story I’d love to see the commanders of the decks be all the leaders of the dragon houses/khans together so we get like Tasigur, Silumgar, and Sidisi together on one card. Idk how that’d be translated mechanically but it would be neat
I think we'll get more general stuff from marvel commander, since there's too much ground to cover, for the villain decks, i think thanos, Who is both main stream popular and very important in the comics is a safe bet, maybe something to do with sacrifice and death, but grixis, since this is mad titan comics thanos, not greater good movies thanos For the second villains deck, im thinking doctor doom, is there is a thing like an "evil protagonist " in marvel, you could make a strong argument that it's him, plus, he is being reintroduced in the movies as well They might just do sentinels though, to Match up with the xmen
2025 has nothing for me until Q3 unless the race set has SL Twisted Metal Cars...excited for Space Opera set but hesitant on it and excited for Lorwyn return.
Sets for marvel, xmen, avengers yes, but thunderbolts with the movie coming out next year and masters of evil with doom as the face commander with next avengers film next year
I love marvel comics, so I’m really excited for that set too especially to see how they do X-Men cause that’s gotta be the mutant kindred theme, which I’ve been waiting for especially since fallout didn’t really have a ton of mutant support RIP
I’m hoping that the precons for marvel would be Xmen possibly bant, Avengers Jeskai, Cabal/Villains Grixis or Jund and maybe even a street level deck with more grounded characters
Backgrounds no. They might put a spin on it and have the Job system like from Final Fantasy 5. Also, did you play any of the games? Red Mages in final fantasy cast both white and black at low levels. I could see a red mage as a creature that can prevent damage or do like a timmy effect, but you wouldn't give healing spells to red the color. I do think there could be multi-faced cards though. Kefka, Sepheroth, Cecil, Rydia, Terra, and maybe Odin could fit into that where their character changes after conditions are met.
For final fantasy, I want a play on friends forever or partner with but make it three commanders. Obviously they'd have to be toned down to not make this broken

One Universe’s Beyond nobody is hyping the idea of is Pikmin. You could do all sorts like an MDFC legendary land (Quaggled Mireclops) or have super cool treasures matter or food matters cards, alongside some lifegain and niche kindred decks seeing a ton of love (Maybe give us a jund spider commander that cares about spiders specifically?)

Looks like Bello will get many new vehicles toys in the future. I would love some cosmic horror style from the space (Q3) part.

I feel like an elden ring expansion would be amazing. The themes would be easy to work into colors
