Well that was fun and those are some big Hail. A canopy for the Caravan and the tipper might be the go. Also some storm shutters be a good idea and on the new house as well. We in NZ getting good Wash and Blow wave from Mum Nature in last couple weeks and wind been epic up to 300kph in some places. No real damage a bit of Flooding. Dennis is gonna be the Star ......... Keep at it and carry on. watch the Pythons there teeth slpoe backwards real had to get of if they bite ya. Carry on.
If your planning on putting cattle or other livestock on your block, old broken fridges like the one in your shed are perfect for storing chemicals such as dip, wormer and fly ear tags due to being insulated they store all that stuff at a good temperature. Good way to repurpose.
That circular chicken mesh structure with posts is ideal for compost. Put it in the chook area, when you get chooks they will turn the compost for you.
When you eventually get chooks get bird wire instead of chicken wire as all those snakes will be looking for a free feed of your chooks make sure you put it on the roof is well
Gnarly Storm! Welcome to hill top life in CQ. The hail sometimes get like snow on the ground. this one was a good warm up to let you know how it can get though. bargain spar paid off too
The hard work is starting to pay off guys, the spa is awesome. Still don't like the snakes tho...Our summer storms are always a worry that's for sure, and yes get more tanks..collect that precious water..
Had a dent repairer rent a shed of us when I lived in Gladstone, amazing technique to manually remove hail damage dents and he always had plenty of work.
just a little storm, you will be right. Windiest month is August, but you still get some storms. Thats what makes Qld the best place to live. Welcome to the neighbourhood.
Glad to see you survived the storm, my Telstra modem, media player was fried due to lightning strikes on my property. Doesn’t look like Tannum got it nearly as bad though!
just be careful not having a fence around your spa my parents got a threaten of a $6k fine for not having one with a 2 weeks to remedy. council are assholes
Spa with snakes 🐍 how lovely lol
That was almost an 2004', Aussie P-House moment that Dennis caught there! I LOVED Dennis' laugh! 🙂 🙂

I love storms, you had some good sized hail. Typical Aussie reaction to the rain, it's being wasted because it's not going into a tank!
Queensland is insane… Crazy weather… Snakes galore… but all the beautiful delicious fruit you can grow….😋💖
Beautiful little copper python in your garden shed
New house coming on a treat (almost forgot about fishing there for a minute or two) thanks for sharing. :)

That wind is going sideways. Lol.
In Oklahoma it goes round and round then throws everything up in the air miles away.
10c can collectors will be frothing over those cans 😳

You guys are such a beautiful couple. Dennis seems to know everything, very smart man. What does he do for a job?
He is the local male stripper, I have heard from many female friends that he handles snakes very well too, whatever that means! 🤷♂️
