Sir we are using single interlock here in UAE.
But why we don't use double interlock.
As you told in lecture that for machines and electronics area we use double interlock.
In lift machine room we have electronic panels also.

Now it depend upon the designer, further he can give the reason, why he is not making it more safe.
Can you explain what is the difference between single and double Pre action system? And where can use?
