Another great restoration...............I'm always impressed that he keeps his toenails so well trimmed, the sign of a true genius. I've read that Einstein had well trimmed toenails.
I'm impressed at how you even rip the motor itself apart in order to re-wire it.
Me starting to watch video and reading this comment: "That means take apart motor housing to clean everything, right?". Me at 6:58 : "Whoah. He's actually re-winding the motor! That's amazing!"
Fascinating. I have the barest understanding of how a motor works. Watching you rebuild it was like watching David Blaine do magic. Outstanding!

The more you take apart, the more I remember disassembling the oscillating fans when I was a kid. I don't think there was any reason that I took them apart other than it entertained me.

"If enough people did what you do think how much less stuff would be in the landfill" when I was growing up that's what men did repaired everything... and I took it for granted that every man know how to repair stuff around the house... it wasn't until I moved to NORTH AMERICA... I will be like oh this and that needs to be repaired... and my partner will say throw it away... I was like WHAT?

@@prossynannyanzi7072 Ya, not everyone knows how to rewind motors and not everyone is going to spend the money to repair when they can go out and buy another for the fraction of the costs to do what this guy did..

very nice job. but in my turn, if i'll make on such thing so much job, i'll better replace the sleeve bearings with some Ball Bearings. for a longer Lifetime.

6:30 this spraying god i remember my first trying to spray paint something holding the can wrong way spraying my entire face with paint i was yellow like spongebob after that i just heard my dad laughing out of the garage i wont forget that moment ever

Coils burnt????? what did someone do? Apply 10 times the voltage and watch it go up in smoke??? The cost of restoring this fan that looks like it's from no later than the 1990s, and new one could be bought at the fraction of the price, but then again adsense and the views of this video made enough to buy a bulk of new ones from China..

How did the fan become like that you mean? Looks like it was heavily used in a commercial workshop or something then dumped when it got too dirty...what a little bit of cleaning/maintenance could have prevented.
Am I the only one who is thinking not a single screw was rusty. They all came out like brand-new.

you just refurbished and repaired that fan and i can imagin what you can do with a large amout of money. but unfortunatley you would be jailed, killed, made to be crazy or worst locked away in an assylum kept away from your love one.
