i ordered that merchant of venice on fragrancenet last night after hearing great things but never smelling it myself, and i almost never blind buy anything, so i'm so happy to see how much you love it and i'm excited for it to come!
With Escapade gourmaunde, the same thing happened with me I ordered a sample and it was super light and then I got a decant from an aged bottle and it made my eyes roll back in my head. It smells like the most delicious creme brûlée. It’s a must have full bottle for me now and it lasts forever on my skin. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Arlene! Andalusian Soul is TOTALLY on my wishlist! I love how smokey it is and then how it turns into the most sophisticated vanilla! Yay! It's on the grey market for $130. It's coming home to me soooooon! Love it!
I only have like two bottles I want on my wishlist and Escapade Gourmande is one of them. A very beautiful vanilla that's perfect for Spring/Summer. I find it quite comparable to Fire at Will but they are different enough to own both. I've tried Akro Dark and disliked it. Accident a la Vanille Almond edition is VERY different from the original. I don't understand why they would call it a flanker when it's so different.
I adore Andalusian Soul, which to me smells like a boozy crème caramel. If you're into gourmands, you should try a cheap Italian brand called Tuttotondo... their 'Tiramisù' and 'Castagna' (chestnut) are absolutely delicious 😋
They all sound so good! I’m glad to hear your thoughts 💭 on dark because I was tempted to blind buy when I get my akro awake. But patch is iffy for me. I’ll just order a sample. You saved me 🤣
I agree Dark is something I wouldn’t buy just because it’s too dark and also not the creamy chocolate I was looking for, more on the dry side. I like it but not enough to have because I will never wear it lol
I would love for you to try Gourmand Bakhoor, (Jousset) caramel, milk, toffee, leather and incense. It's amazing! Also Delicious Black Powder by Jousset!!
I own a big bottle of Maison mataha escapade gourmande, and it's superior to any vanilla I have ever smelled. It's indie . It sneaks up on you after a few minutes...on me it's beautiful and longevity is superior as well. The projection is very good. She didn't give the credit it's due

Disagree. Smells like cheap vanilla. Used in a lot of Bath and body works product. I purchased the bottle directly from the company so its not fake.
