Reed could be another project for Fred. Paul has shown some hints of being a stretch big like Stew. For now a nice third string player who could find his way into the rotation.

Keep ivey! Monty never gave him a chance until he HAD to. Even when he had great performances monty never praised him in post game interviews. Young guys need that confidence from their coach

Paul Reed plays with hustle and grit; he fits what we want our team to be.

Do you think JI didn’t improve at the rim or at his shooting because he was trying to hard and getting in his head. After Monty had Hayes start over Ivey I could tell Ivey tried so hard to get better but without guidance and a good coach he didn’t do it right. He kept trying harder and getting in his head. I am hopeing once he has a coach that cares he will have that confidence and play like he is expected to. I say this because how does a player get worse and lose more games than their rookie year? What I would love to see is both Cade and Ivey playing like they did when they players the Nets when they both combined for 66 points!

Ivey should of the bench, but get significant minutes to help further his development.

We don’t know where Ivey fits because they waisted his whole second year dealing with Monty. Weaver drafted this kid and Monty almost ruined him. Let him and Duren develop before giving up on them after such a disservice. Kessler even said it, he was looking for ways to lose.

Paul Reed is a nice piece. Is there a log-jam between Reed & Stewart though? Seem like very similar players.

The logjam is at the 3. You got Harris Fontecchio Thompson and Holland. Depending on if Bickerstaff wants to go with a small lineup, you can have one of them play the 4🤷🏾‍♂️. They do have more options available to them with this roster

@@michaelpowell9152or you could have Ausar play the 2

@@pepegajones6541 yeah that’s a option. Would bring more size to the backcourt with certain lineups & he has decent ball handling skills to provide play making Shooting would still be a issue

    Jaden Hunter

Tim Hardaway doesn't have the better 2 than Ivey or steal or block shoots better than Ivey. 3% is almost the same, Tim is not an upgrade. Beasley is also not a upgrade they have almost the same numbers.

Time Hardaway is a savy vet but he's not a better player than Ivey. Ivey has to play the point, Cade takes too long to work the offense, he's a better scorer than a distributor.
