I underestimated these videos, learning isn't that hard once you're an adult! Thank you soo much, I hope everyone achieves their dreams all thanks to you ❤
Hello, I am Hannah . I wanted to comment to let you know that your really helped me get my GED . I got it this pass weekend and it was because of all your amazing content . What you do for others here on this channel is really amazing, thank you !
I've finally passed my social studies test! I watched all of ur videos one day before the exam and it helped me a lot! Especially with bias type questions! Now I'm officially a GED graduate! Thank you very much! 🙏❤
Just got my ged i was first person to take 3 test in one day and 4 in 2 at my school, I thank you. If it wasn’t for your videos I’m not sure it would have been possible, you are a lifesaver my friend.
I just wanted to say thank you very much again. This is my second time that I passed, the first time was math and second time it was social studies I learned everything from the website you made and also watched all your videos and my last one is science, hopefully I can pass it too.🙏😊
thank you so much for your videos!! i was able to pass all 4 tests today due to watching your videos! especially the math ones which brought my score way up :))
Your videos have helped me through so much, especially in math. I passed math, social studies, and science, but I still left RLA to take this in November. Can you please give me advice on how to improve my writing in extended responses? As always, thank you!
Excellent work! I just released another RLA video to help you study! 🙏🏼 I usually tell students to just do their best on the essay but really focus their energy much more on the last section of the RLA test. All the best on your last test! 😃
Thank u so much Sir for this video this is really helpful.I really appreciate.I was struggling with this to figure this out.Can u please make more video on RLA and conclusion ,inference i am struggling with those.
Hey I’m studying for the asvab for the airforce and I think you should make a video on the asvab math because it’s all no calculator.. just saying because you’re a good teacher and you helped me get my highschool diploma
I have a GED Math study guide that goes topic by topic here: www.getsummath.com/guide If you want to see the types of problems that you can use the calculator for, here's a video on that! ruclips.net/video/KhRoFKWF0e0/видео.html Or, I have full test walkthroughs if you prefer to study that way! ruclips.net/video/uv6s_7Hi2nw/видео.html
Your videos are so helpful man! I really appreciate them. Would you mind maybe doing simplifying stuff including square roots and parenthesis? e.g. (27√+3√)² it's throwing me off quite a bit especially when there are two parts. Sorry if you already have and it's entirely cool if not!! Thank you for all your help :)
Glad they've been helping! What book or website were you practicing those problems like (27√+3√)² ? I want to try to get a better picture of the types that you're talking about, because I've never seen them ask ones quite like that on the practice tests or study guide. Happy to explain more about those if you can send a few examples!
@@GetSumMath These are actually from my adult HiSET program offered by the state, unfortunately they don't do a very good job at explaining them. These are definitely on the GED for my state since I've attempted 'em once before on the official test and failed due to it. Here's some more examples! Simplify the expression: (√8+4)−(√2+1) Simplify the expression: (√9/3) (√5+3) Simplify the expression: (√16-8)^2 - (√20+9) It generally goes along these lines for all of them besides an extra number thrown in on the outside and a square root going up to 2. If it helps any, the answer for the first one I sent is 4√7+3√^2 I wish I could give you a name for these but I don't know it. I do think it's related to quadratic formula but I think they want people to expand the brackets and then multiply. Thank you so much, man I really appreciate it :) If you need anymore explanation I can maybe get my lesson re-opened so I can give you more concise things since this is admittedly a bit confusing with the limited knowledge I have I can't explain it well.
@@battertv Ah, that makes sense if they're on the HiSET. I'll try to walkthrough the three that you sent here: 1) Simplify the expression: (√8+4)−(√2+1) The √8 is √4•√2, and then we can take the square root of 4 to get: √4•√2 = 2√2 Rewriting: (2√2+4)−(√2+1) Distributing the negative to the two terms on the right side: 2√2 + 4 − √2 -1 Combining like terms: 2√2 − √2 same as: 2√2 − 1√2 Subtract 2 - 1: 1√2 Then 4 - 1 = 3 Therefore: 2√2 + 4 − √2 -1 = 1√2 + 3 2) Simplify the expression: (√9/3) (√5+3) Distribute (multiply) the first thing times the other two: The 1st term: √9/3 • √5 = √45/3 Which is √9•√5 / 3 = 3√5/3 The 2nd term: √9/3 +3 = 3√9/3 or 3•3/√3 = 9/√3 But, you can't have square roots in the bottom, so they would do: 9/√3 • √3/√3 = 9√3 / 3 = 3√3 Finally, adding 1st and 2nd terms: 3√5/3 + 3√3 I'll pause here to see if those make sense or not, but they're definitely tricky! Hope that helps some so far 🙏🏼

For sure, will do my friend! 🙏🏼
Plz sir upload more.your videos are so helpful to us.Thanku
Thank you! More to come!
@GetSumMath sir i have a question today i passed my practice test of social with 154 marks.should i go for the Exam now?
I think so! Usually people do within about five points of their practice test so you should be in good shape to take it!
💖😊
Thank tou soo much
I just did my social studies test today and a few hours ago i found out i passed with 155
Woohoo!! 🥳 Congrats my friend! 😃
Bias and Opinion question is the most common question in Ged. social studies.

Simplify the expression:
(√8+4)−(√2+1)
Simplify the expression:
(√9/3) (√5+3)

(√16-8)^2 - (√20+9)

@@battertv Ah, that makes sense if they're on the HiSET. I'll try to walkthrough the three that you sent here:
1) Simplify the expression:
(√8+4)−(√2+1)
The √8 is √4•√2, and then we can take the square root of 4 to get: √4•√2 = 2√2
Rewriting:
(2√2+4)−(√2+1)
Distributing the negative to the two terms on the right side:
2√2 + 4 − √2 -1
Combining like terms:
2√2 − √2 same as:
2√2 − 1√2
Subtract 2 - 1:
1√2
Then 4 - 1 = 3
Therefore:
2√2 + 4 − √2 -1
= 1√2 + 3
2) Simplify the expression:
(√9/3) (√5+3)
Distribute (multiply) the first thing times the other two:
The 1st term:
√9/3 • √5 = √45/3
Which is √9•√5 / 3 = 3√5/3
The 2nd term:
√9/3 +3 = 3√9/3
or 3•3/√3 = 9/√3
But, you can't have square roots in the bottom, so they would do:
9/√3 • √3/√3 = 9√3 / 3 = 3√3
Finally, adding 1st and 2nd terms:
3√5/3 + 3√3
I'll pause here to see if those make sense or not, but they're definitely tricky! Hope that helps some so far 🙏🏼
@@GetSumMath I never saw this! This does help a bit so far, thank you so very much, I seriously appreciate it :)
is the test basically a test were you just read and fing the answers by understanding what they ask
Exactly 👍🏼 It’s a mostly reading comprehension test, yup!

Montana! Where are you from?
@@GetSumMath i live in Ohio!
my exam is tmmr and i feel like imma fail
