Thanks for posting this. I’ve been wondering if those were 3 point seat belts. Finally someone came out with a camping van with more 3 point seat belts in it!!!
Beth Jordan yep! All passenger seats have 3 pt safety belts. You can safely carry up to 6 (driver included). One of the reasons we went with this model :)
We've yet to camp in extremely hot weather and we typically are only in the camper at night for sleeping or cooking/eating. If it were a very hot night or a raining hot day and we were stuck in the camper with the windows closed, that might be an issue. But, having the poptop open and an AC running also isn't ideal as that isn't very efficient (it would be like running your AC with your windows open). So, we're happy with the P.
We ended up selling ours, though I don't recall many issues with those belts. They're a little awkward because they're so long, but my son road in the back for a big portion of one of our trips (as did two adults) and there were no complaints.
@@bensnyder2057 Oh! Do you mind sharing why you sold it and what are some of your thoughts after a year? Issues? Would you buy it again know what you know now?
@@longuyen8056 we just didn't use it enough to justify owning such an expensive vehicle. We live in Michigan where it sat idle for many months of the year too. If we ever buy another camper van again, I'd try to buy a used one on account of depreciation (and I'd want to make sure my lifestyle supports the frequent use of the vehicle). We didn't have any real issues with the Solis though.
Dom Perez when we were looking, most were Murphy beds. Though I found one in Illinois too. I was told this might have been one of the first batch of sofa beds.
Dom Perez prices are a bit high right now with the supply/demand related to covid. But, you should be able to find them below msrp. I went through Ben Davis in Indiana.

I wish they would offer the sofa option on the 59px as well.
Yeah, the extra foot or so in the back makes up for the lost space for bikes, etc.
Yes!
yep!
Ferfect layout I wish it's available on the pxsofa bed layout iwould definitely buy it.
Thank you! Is there 3 seated belt or 2?
how's the comfort of sleeping on that foam.
You mentioned you are 6’2”. Were you able to lay on the sofa bed, perpendicular to the van?
Greetings......what was the price you paid for? Did you have to wait a while for it to get in stock? Which dealer did you go to?
Do you know if it comes in the extended length like the PX?
I don't believe it does. Only the PX is extended length.
Ben, thanks for the videos! If you could choose again, willyou still use p rather than px considering AC and generator?

Great video! How efficient the fan is in the hot summer. Thanks
Thats what I would buy. What was the cost? This is mid model equipped with Sofa? Anything else?
Thanks for the review. Did you get this model because it could fit child car seats?
on the rear seat, specifically?
@@mainlyallover Yes, primarily because it has better passenger arrangements.
@@bensnyder2057 appreciate it, that's been a major concern for me.
How are the seat belts on the sofa bed working out? Are they comfortable for kids and adults? Does shoulder belt lay correctly?

@@bensnyder2057 Thank you so much for the honest response. Would you go for the sofa bed or the murphy bed?
Hard to find one with the sofa? Just started looking at these and haven't found one yet.

Ben Snyder really dig the sofa version. Any resource for fair pricing? Seems like msrp is 100+ but actual sale price could be closer to the 80s?

@@domperez1558 I have heard 75k mid model
So the sofa seats only have two pairs of seat belts? I thought they could seat three safely back there.
Tony Tran correct, only 2
Thank you for the video! It seems the legroom of the sofa is limited. Do you know how I can find one close to Los Angles, CA?
You might check the facebook group "Winnebago Solis Owners and Wannabes" for leads on a Solis.
is there a microwave ?
Nope
