The transgender service guidance was issued by the C of E in advent 2018, not as Dr Sanlon mistakenly said in this interview, in 2019. Dr Sanlon then made his leaving the C of E public the following Easter - in 2019.

This interview has been so helpful. 😮My daughter and son in law are in evangelical C of E in Birmingham. and I am concerned for them . WE are part of a small independent church used to be open Brethren near Southampton ..I recognise that our Society is lost but also that the C of E is no longer faithful to Gods word and teaching and sacraments. May God really bless your church fellowship and your ministry..
What an inspiring interview, I myself was a reader in the CofE and left, because I could see the way things were going. I have never been contacted, asked or supported in any way by the 'church' I have had to encourage myself in the Lord, like David did as there are no orthodox Anglican churches near me at present.
The CofE trying to be all things to all people, ministers feathering their own nests rather than taking a stand for the truth, shameful...God is calling them out, He will not be mocked! Stealth is of the devil, that's what bishops are doing normalising homosexuality.
The Bishop I've met him a few times he's all about politics and who we vote for. This guy is not a bishop but a secularist there to direct votes so the fact he's pushing the New world order agenda doesn't suprise me.

I will leave the Church of England after 66 years an Anglican shame shame. I go to church for biblical truth to heal my habitual sins not encourage them… Archbishop you have to take a stand for the truth. OMG you must not do what Runcie said he did. Nail his colours to the fence.
Join catholic church
Give up on “church” but not on God. Don’t let the Godless keep you from God. Stay and fight if possible and let God use you to encourage those similarly discouraged as yourself.
Have you considered the Ordinariate? I, as a former “vicarage brat” (C. of I) have ‘gone to Rome’ despite all its present challenges. My beloved Dad, a true servant of Jesus, would turn in his grave if he knew how his fellow clergy have allowed and encouraged the woke ideology to infiltrate the Anglican communion, everywhere except African dioceses, which remain faithful to the Gospel. @@nirmaljose7763We are praying & having to decide soon. But we can’t join the Catholic Church because we believe to pray to Mary is very unbiblical. Scripture teaches that Jesus alone is our mediator & He even intercedes for us in heaven. Not Mary. And also all humans except Christ are sinners according to Scripture whereas the Popes (they) taught that Mary isn’t a sinner!

As a heterosexual male, will the church now bless me if I want a sexual relationship outside marriage which is what they are doing with the gays. That is unfair as a life of denying sexual desire as not having found a marriage partner , I'm now told I could have had sex outside the biblical message with a blessing. The church had gone crazy.

Don’t you think it should be in the contract of employment for “bishops” and vicars that they may not be atheists?

@@stephencotton2694 I couldn’t join either of them. I see denominations, often, not always as an obstruction to God when people have to observe their rules often in contradiction to bible.
Give up on religion(s) but never give up on God. Hope you find a meaningful relationship with God, despite men. Proverbs 9:10 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding.
If ever you get the chance, have a read of “Of God and man” by A.W. Tozer and, or “knowing God” by J. I. Packer

@@observersnt In the C of E the clergy are not “employed”. That’s why their pay is called a stipend and not a salary or wage. They have what is called “the parson’s freehold” and can think, say and do exactly as they please. It’s almost impossible to remove them from office under this system.

Thank you for this discussion. It is just so sad, but as you said the Lord is separating those in his church, his body. We are to be faithful witnesses. And stand for the truth of his word. Jesus said, "I an the truth." He is the word. I pray for strength to stand in the future as my husband agrees with the new agendas, which causes me great sadness.

I've been wanting to leave the Church of England for a while now due to it's "wokeness", however there just doesn't seem to be another alternative. I really don't think the Roman Catholic church is my calling, I did however like the sound of the Free Church of England, but unfortunately there are so few places of worship that it's almost impossible to start attending services regularly.
There are sound historical reasons why many believe that the Roman Catholic church is the anti-christ.

There's nothing in my King James Bible New Testament about ' going to church '. Acts 7 and 17 clearly say the Most High God does NOT dwell in buildings made with hands.
There are no denominations in the New Testament Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. No vicars, bishops ( ascendancy of authority ), archbishops, tithes,or any other non biblical trappings.
Do you want to follow Christ and His commission? Are you a born again, spirit filled believer ? If so, keep out of the social clubs people call churches and get out on the streets with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

No ' church ' buildings in my King James Bible New Testament. No ' going to church '. So called church buildings are pagan temples adopted by the satanic catholic cult. Much of the stuff and people are non biblical. No vicars, priests or any other ascendancy of authority in my King James Bible ( Cambridge ). My Bible clearly says Almighty God does not dwell in buildings made with hands ( Acts 7& 17 KJV ). church buildings are attended mainly by lost people ( 2 Corinthians 6 : 14-18 KJV ) and are social clubs. In Horbury where I live, the methodist church had 8 notices up the other day, slimming club, dance classes, you name it. Even an event where you could buy or sell gold. Nothing about the great commission commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ. Finally church buildings are full of heretic modern ( post 1881 ) catholic bibles. There is no Holy Ghost where the place is littered with evil Christ denying books.

The denomination of England people should know the history by now and act accordingly [that is] by leaving Henry VIII denomination rather than seemingly ignoring the history and not taking the right step. Leave and return to Rome.
The Church is a Body and Jesus Christ is the Heard. All believes are servers. No Bishop owns the Church. You don't have to leave the Church, but withdraw fellowship with/from such who knows nothing about Salvation. There is a big difference between Religious leaders and Christianity. But we mistakenly yoke with one another.
Never let the Godless, spineless, shameless, who “have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof, keep you from God. It is your right to have a relevant, active relationship with God, don’t let the spiritually depraved deny you of that. Stay and fight to purge the Anglicans of the filth that take salaries, pensions, expenses and accommodation from the church but are those that are destroying it.
It must be very difficult to care for and lead a local church. In my experience, very many people in the pew are more enquiring and more accepting than their orthodox clergy. There are many more interesting and important things for us to be talking about.

Yes, Catholic and Evangelical Alliance was really told to leave and go to those churches instead. And CoE really has to have more affirming and liberal theology. Or they will burn in hell for helping Hitler. Because that church really is a covenant of monarchy, country, and politics and history. They really are the head of the old empire globally. Spiritually you are best to leave if your theology can't accept celibate lgbt priests and female priests or divorce and remarriage. Because that's the Tudor Church duh. They can't be evangelical or catholic. The African and American church should have just left not broken union.

dear Dr. Peter..sir is it not Christ who commands, "Follow Me"..is it not Him we follow with the help of the Holy Spirit through the pages of 4 gospels. Catholic church is one true church.
You are not reading your bible under the guidance of the Holy spirit. Praying through Mary and the saints is not in scriptures, hence some of the disillusioned Anglicans are lamenting where they can worship.
Please bring your entire congregation into the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. You can come into Anglican Ordinariate and maintain your congregation and your customs. Please check into it! Became Catholic 10 years ago- never been happier! ❤❤
