I've always dreamt of starting an acting career though. I have 2 more years of school, but I think I want to take acting classes on the side... or maybe switch completely, idk yet. Do you think that will be too overwhelming to try and do both at the same time?

Question- I would love to take in person acting classes but every place I find seems to be theater or musical theater. Is there something specific I should search for to find classes more on film/television or just acting in general??
I just watched a vid from you from 2 years ago, and you look so different now! I also rly want to be an actress, but I don't know how to tell my mom bc I've tried many different sports and crafts and stuff, but never stick to it, so she won't believe in me. I'm also only turning 13 in July... lol. She probably won't think I'm mature enough 😂

i dunno whether this will be seen but I'd love to start an acting career. My issue concerns epilepsy which often causes my eyes to roll up, which I don't notice most of the time unless someone points it out. So it's possible that I could have a full on conversation with you and I could have rolled my eyes once or twice without even noticing. I always make sure to let people know that if it does happen while they're talking to me then I'm not being rude. My concern would be that there might be times when multiple takes would be ruined because my eyes might randomly roll and thus make the shoot longer and more money would have to be thrown in. It doesn't help that stress and nerves, well, doesn't help which obviously is something a person would experience within this industry. And I don't expect people to go out of their way to try and write my rolling eye movements into the script to accommodate for me. It's controlled in that (as long as I take my meds) the tonic clonic (the ones where someone falls and starts to seizure) ones don't happen. However I still am not able to drive so that would affect me too and, well, the eye rolling apparently counts as a mini seizure. So that's what is holding me back. I did an acting class that I really enjoyed at my university and the tutor and some of the people in my class thought I did well (I got a 'most committed' trophy at the end of it haha), so it's annoying that I have this block.
So I haven’t had much luck with other casting sites, though I’m an inexperienced actor that’s currently taking classes. Is it better to submit for student films on Backstage?
its really hard to convince my parents to let me act, so im doing a stupid amount od reserch and im saving up till i have around $300 to pay for headshots and show my parents how much i want to act :D
I absolutely am glad your videos are back! But I have a question, my mom claims she will support me In acting my I can tell she’s lying, my dad doesn’t know but I already know won’t be supportive, how do I convince them to take this seriously?

You should look for screen acting classes or acting for the camera.

when your doing a short film and they told you what to wear do you wear it there??
It depends on the production style. But since it’s a student film you probably wear it there. But just ask. ☺️
