Now that I'm getting older, I've come to realize that the wisest individuals are those with inner qualities, not just external success. I want to express my gratitude to Alan for all his teachings. I listened to him till I fall asleep sometimes I dream about the stuff he was saying I see it vividly in my dreams I experience it then woke up to him playing on my phone I recommend listening to him before bed don't turn it off just let ut play and you will have great dreams and experience about the things he talk about.

Despite spending a lifetime being interested in Zen for some reason I never followed up on him. I had no idea these wonderful talks existed. Many thanks to all the people who have put them up, RUclips is wonderful, this talk is one of the best and has settled with me deeply, l have been pondering this matter for years and he explains it in 9 minutes, incredible.

If you understand that a situation is hopeless and there’s nothing you can do to change it, that is when surrender to the present moment can happen. When that happens something very beautiful can come out of that.
