@@stanleynich Henley has a MASSIVE amount of people monitoring all sources of airplay, and gets them pulled down as quickly as possible. They're not rich enough, and they don't understand that people who perform their music as well as this should be taken as an honor, and not a business attack!!!

@@Bigtim2you The Eagles (or really Don Henley) have a reputation for stomping all over Fair Use -- it's one thing to protect your art, it's another to block others from critiquing or praising your work... It's almost like Henley doesn't want anyone to discover his music or appeal to a younger audience.

I am an "Eagles" fan since the early '70s. However, with the performance of both "Lying Eyes", and "New Kid in Town", Lexington Lab Band is fastily toppling them over.
LLB, --> GREAT efforts on your collective parts. It shows great dedication to your individual crafts.
Is there something in the water around Lexington? Maybe the trees, or the hills? LLB has a musical "gravitational attraction" that has assembled top talent. The musicianship and cinematography shines in this video, y'all. It's so clear to me how much everyone in the group LOVES music, LOVES their instruments and want to share that love. Covering wonderful songs of our collective history isn't "theft"; it's about keeping these songs alive. It's about teaching the love of music to newer generations. Thanks to everyone at LLB for sharing this love across the world.

@@nickpridding3435 The Eagles were in the DNA of a lot of stars. They were the Kings of California rock. To land a songwriting credit with Henley and Frey on one of their albums, is pretty impressive. He certainly wrote the chorus..

The thing that has always got me with the Eagles, was the harmonies. Didn't think it could be replicated. Obviously I was wrong. Magnificent version.

Wow. The original by the Eagles actually won a Grammy for Best Vocal Arrangement for Two or More Voices. This performance is right up there.
To think these songs from The Eagles are classics and not still mainstream is not just a travesty, but a testament that now in my 50’s, folks like you are keeping them alive give me great hope! You all absolutely KILLED it and frankly, did so much justice to the original, Glen would be so damn proud! He’s definitely smiling upon you all. I love the way you guys maintained the relaxed feel and tempo and stayed in that pocket. The song just floats from beginning to end. Very nice job capturing the subtle nuances, especially in the vocals.

One of my all time favorite songs ever recorded! I saw the Eagles live 3 times.
as a young kid the Eagles was my most favorite band i am now 54 years old now ,new kid in town was also one of my most favorite songs by them, but i gotta say you all do this song soooo very much better. I Wish you guys and gals would do a version of those shoes, that would be awesome i am sure of it.

I thought your rendition of Hotel California was great, but New Kid in Town was better, if that’s even possible! As a life long Eagles fan and fellow musician, I’m beyond amazed at how near perfect you performed this song! Derrick’s lead vocal perfectly captured the sound, feel, and tone of Glenn Frey. 👍

My favorite Eagles song. I used to play it with a Digitech studio Vocalist. $1,000. Nice unit. Someone asked Don Henley if he was tired of any of the old Eagles songs and he said.. "All of them" Too bad. People like me and millions of others aren't..
