I picked up a kit on ebay . My seat height went from 24 to 28.5 inches. Makes a big difference. It looks like a mini pit bike. I'm still upgrading my motor and batteries. Plus I'm putting on a 12in rear rim and I'm making a mini supermoto.
I bought one for $30 and I'm completely rebuilding it, putting in a 72v 3000v motor and 72v lithium battery. When I finnish it I will post a video of it
If I could go back and do anything differently, it'd be to spring to the Li-on battery instead of the lead acid batteries. What kind of speeds are you expecting with the 72v motor?
@@jg726 Gearing in this context being the sprocket on the rear wheel? I'm interested in changing mine up if that's the case. Part of me wants to be able to pop real wheelies on this thang.
@@techbets102 Gearing is the front (motor) sprocket and rear is well the rear one. I'll tell u what I go with right now I'm painting and wiring up my battery and motor
You need to come to the Facebook group Modified Razors.... You're missing out on so many cheap mods that will make that bike better than a gas pitbike.
I'd love to but im not big into facebook. Get that group on signal or telegram and I'm in. I'd love to get more tips on how to make this bike a beast. I want it to go faster.
I didn't use the ones from the kit only because I found them cheaper on Amazon! I don't know of runtime exactly because I rarely run this bike long enough to kill it as I live in the city but I have rode it for 20+ minutes at a time (200+lbs on me), and only noticed a miner voltage lag. @@techbets102 ah ok. Cool. I've seen those batts before but I went with ones from batterymart.com for my kids bikes. Im still looking for a bike for myself to build faster like yours it looks sick going 30mph. Haha
Yeah, I wish I had ended up with an MX650. As mentioned in the video, though, I bought the bike for $50 just as a tinker- toy. Idk about doing 35mph on this puppy.
@@techbets102 it will be fine doing 35mph. Mx500 and mx650 are exactly the same size. Only difference are the electric motor on the mx650 has a bit more torque but that’s all.
Sweet. Got a new MX500 otw! 48V 1800w Vevor 4500 rpm motor, Kelly 24-72v 55a controller, 48v 20ah lipo, 13T motor sprocket.
Going for 30+ but more efficient build tryna to be able to go for over an hour.

I think around 35mph with stock gearing and 40-45mph with different gearing

Smaller front and larger rear will have more torque, larger front and smaller rear will have a higher top speed

stock razor tensioner works perfect w the tf8 84/13 combo
Yep! I bought a replacement and it works perfectly! So fun to ride now!
Where did you get that sprocket!!!! I need one but can find one
Nice video dude, well put together. I was wondering what charger you are using to charge the 48v?
This puppy, right here. Note that it's 60v, not 48v!

Should use Lithium-ion Kobalt Batteries from Lowes

Thank you - please call my mom and tell her I'm successful.
Hey what batts did you use the 12v 25ah batts that came with the kit?? What kind of run time did you get if you were using those batts??
