It was actually Trossard that Raya was giving the look to after Timber lost the ball. Trossard didn’t track back hard enough to close down the pass to the Wolves player who shot. You can see and hear Raya screaming “Leo”

Bang on George, I watched a solid win where we barely conceded any chances. Went on RUclips and was shocked to see people complaining about the performance.

I think the commentators were the reason for that narrative. We conceded possession for 10-15 mins. That doesn’t mean we gave up control. I felt like we were in as much control then as any other part of the game. They created nothing in that period. We were brilliant.

Am glad someone is seeing qualities of Zinchenko many had failed to see. So please relax and let that youngman continue to play and develop further.

Definitely surprised that Arsenal haven't moved for an attacker. Obviously the Euros and Copa America complicated things but other teams have been getting deals done. Maybe they are waiting to offload Nketiah or Nelson. Personally I always like Matias Soule and we could have got him from Juve for 25 million. Would have been a great buy!

Zinchenko is so clever in the build up. Everything literally went through him, and he makes us a lot more progressive.
If he is unmarked and we can create an overload, we can take advantage of the overload. If we can’t create an overload, we would switch to gain advantage on the far side. If he is marked, then his other teammates are unmarked in space.
He is so good in helping us to gain these advantages, and this is something Tomiyasu/Kiwior can’t do.
For Gabriel, sometimes he can’t see these, or his ball control takes half as second more, and then the opportunity to gain these advantages is gone. And the opponent’s press suddenly arrived because of that extra half second, so we have a higher chance to lose possession, or if not, the quality of our possession is lowered (not able to be progressive).

Zinchenko will go up levels if or when we sign the best dueler in Europe (merino) until then he's a huge liability

Well said. If tomiyasu or Kiwior play, the opposition is happy for them to invert or be the free man, if it is Zinchenko, they are not. You cannot downplay the importance of this fact.

I have a question, as fans we want the club to be better and as good as possible in every aspect. Why is it that when some of us aren’t happy with transfer deals dragging on we get the comment that that’s what arsenal have always done. Why wouldn’t we want them to get deals done better and more efficient?

Guys, what if the plan is not to buy anyone in those positions and then pay Leao's release clause next season and bring in Wharton and that will be it for next summer

For me we should be looking to upgrade Martienlli rather then replace Nelson. If you can somehow bring in a high calibre winger capable of playing either side, a Raphina, Sane, Perdro Neto type of profile who is better than Martienlli in their final actions then we really push the needle as far as we can imo.
I’d also love a ball carrying creative type profile in midfield to back up Odergaard and potentially dove tail with him too.
Does Eze tick both of these boxes / profiles. A creative 8 who can also back up Saka on the right wing and play on the left wing too ? Also Gibbs-White can potentially do this ?

Do you know how many unsuccessful dribble and possession lost Saka has against Wolves?
Every time he wants to dribble, he lost the ball. Unless there is a big space, then he can just simply knock the ball away from the defender into the big space.
Saka can’t even do a simple trick/skill move. He can’t dribble in tight spaces. A lot of situations could have turned into great chances if we had a more skillful winger instead.
Look at Savinho in contrast. Every time he dribbles, it’s a success. He doesn’t lost possession often. The ball is stuck to his feet like he is a proper Brazilian. Tricks, skill moves, close control. He makes Cucurella look like a kid.

You won today.... 😂😂😂😂. You won with this analysis.....
      Nobody can argue with you.....
Anyways, remember even those who dribble in tight spaces, that do flicks and tricks tend to lose the ball more often than those who see a pass, give the pass and move on. But who am I to say. Let's go with the view of experts like you.

and yet Saka is the best chance creator from out wide IN THE WORLD
plus he’s a very good goalscorer
there’s a level of aesthetic bias that you haven’t yet crossed with Saka, this is one of the best players in the world and Arsenal’s best player
