0:40 I think that it is unfair to classify these games as boring because for most of us who play simulator games as our main genre, we do not find them to be simulating “the dullest parts of our lives.” To some transportation may seem to be simply a way to get from point A to point B, however for others the act of using machines for transportation is fascinating. To those of us who enjoy the idea of driving a truck across the country, or the challenge of flying instrument approaches, or even the feeling of driving a train with a mile and a half of cars behind us, these games are not boring. They may not have the action packed fighting or compelling stories that other genre’s contain, but to those of us who enjoy them, they are far more interesting, because they let us put ourselves into the machines we find so fascinating. this exactly. for many driving a truck is just a job, hell it gets shunned as "what you turn to if you fail in school" like garbage men are. its why you get so many these days that dont care about the industry and are just there to hold the steering wheel and only care about themselves. but some people still hold onto the golden era. like i grew up around trucks and the industry and always dreamed of riding the open road, not having to deal with people draining my social battery, get paid to travel the country, get to see cool stuff normal people never get to see. i still see it as a dream. highkey wish the old school brotherhood mentality and looking out for one another was still a thing but cant have everything i guess haha. hell for truck sims, for some it represents the best part of the industry not the dullest part of ordinary peoples lives. cause if youre in the online scene with truckers mp or are in an virtual trucking company or whatever you can go on convoys with peeps. which honestly, 10/10 experience. closest thing to the feeling of going to a big convoy with a vtc i can imagine is a raid in an MMO with a large guild. getting to hang out and form a bond with a bunch of cool like minded peeps, then getting to banter with them in a convoy with 50+ people convoy (sometimes even up to 200+ people show up to these things) driving through a scenic route, sometimes with proper convoy control is nothing short of surreal. i dont get to do it much personally cause times often dont line up for me but its always an amazing feeling when i get to attend one.
I'm learning to be a mechanic, I've always been a car enthusiast.Part of being a car enthusiast is the fast cars - F1, or my personal favourite WRC. But to truly appreciate that, you gotta appreciate things like touring cars, something a bit slower, or even lorries. I love euro truck, it's both fascinating and relaxing
Try out derail valley, it doesn't have many trains but it has a cool career, is very relaxing and very detailed. I think you will enjoy it as a real train driver
While Derail Valley (as the other guy said) is great, I can also really recommend Diesel Railcar Simulator. It sounds dry on the surface, but it's extremely charming, has great suspension physics, and contains a lot of 1960's British Rail locomotives and manual transmission DMU's. Also, it's developed by a single dev who have worked dilligently on it for several years. The gameplay is a lot more sim than game, but it has dynamic AI traffic and a clever scoring system, meaning two routes are never the same experience.
My first train sim was Train Simulator 2017. Which for those who don’t know, came with Caltrains San Francisco - San Jose route preinstalled. A route that they want like $40 for, and half (if not all) the scenarios are broken/uncompleatable. Dovetail needs some massive improvements
There’s a small debate wether these games are boring or relaxing. My take is that they’re monotonous and consequence free (most of the time), while still hitting the ocasional “dopamine boost” needed to keep things interesting. Most of the inputs done by the player are as autonomic as driving and It leaves room for mind wandering, something very important that we’re losing because of modern life.
I enjoy playing OMSI 2 to drive buses I never did in real life, or ones I used to drive, before I was briefly a bus driver in real life, I used to play it and it's predecessor and Midtown Madness 2 with bus mods to live out my fantasy. I guess that's part of it now as I may never drive in Berlin or Szczecin or Syndey, nor am I likely to drive the 1980s and 90s buses I'm mostly fond of driving in game IRL but I can at least enjoy the experience virtually. You've reminded me to revisit flight sims and train sims. I also have many hours of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and the original Euro Truck Simulator. I think all this helped me to adapt well to driving a bus IRL.
Ive been recently getting in to Snowrunner. There is something strangely addictive about very simple tasks like driving cargo from one place to another, planning a route, and having very slight difficulties like bad terrain or rolling over the truck...(many many times). I think part of the appeal is also that compared to many other types of games they operate at YOUR pace rather than at their own. You can always stop a truck, land yoru aircraft etc and just take a pause to put on a new podcast to listen to or grab a snack.
I am a enthusiast of Microsoft Flight Simulator. I fly on VATSIM which pretty much mimics real-life operations: I want to become an airline pilot in real life, it's my dream. And being able to technically already enjoy that dream virtually is already incredible.
I firmly believe there's a sim game for everyone. You just have to experiment until you find it. Snowrunner, Mudrunner, ATS, ETS, Farming Simulator, Train Simulator, Car Mechanic Simulator, Flight sim, the list goes on and on. Once you do find it, it will literally change your life. It's like experiencing video games again for the first time. It's glorious.
A really well put together video, wouldn't be shocked to see you pulling in big viewing numbers. Just 2 critiques as a viewer: Use the B roll from the game you're talking about, such as when you were talking about ETS, but showing clips from a painting sim of sorts, it helps us visualise what you're talking about even if it's not exactly the same thing. Be careful for volume spikes, a noticeable one is at 5:22, the volume increases quite sharply, I presume this is a cut between 2 speaking segments and you had the mic in a different place.
Another thing that these games have going for them is accessibility; I'm disabled and currently unable to work or go to school, but I can still enjoy these games in a comfortable environment where I can take breaks wherever necessary. I can even join a virtual trucking company with fellow co-truckers getting virtual money for the virtual company, just to add a little bit of feeling of purpose. Its quite nice to have these types of games available when I can do so little in real life. Its not a replacement, but its a nice way to pass the time and still do some of the things I can't in real life
I find these games very relaxing and as long as they are stable and don't crash. I am happy. I cannot drive real trains due to having loss some vision in one eye back in 2021 after being denied medical treatment in Northern Ireland. I respect your points though mate.
been playing truck simulator since 18 wheels of steel, uk truck sim and euro truck sim 1. this game evolved so much. i remember when the new graphics engine that current ets 2 uses was first released on a parking truck simulator game scs released. i've only been a simmer, you get to live so many lives you otherwise couldn't.
It's the core gameplay loop. It's longer, less intense, reward payout is delayed more. Appeals to different parts of the brain. More endorphine than adrenaline.
me and my friend started playing supermarket together which you can guess is just running a supermarket but there is so much to it you can buy new products level up your store ward of thieves buy new security systems and employ cashiers and stockers that stock the store and you need to manage the products in the shelves so they dont run out every electrical thing like a tv or self checkout has an electricity cost that you need to know and you need to build decorations in the staff room so the employees become more effective safe to say we completed the game got every upgrade every product and all achievements
I absolutely love train simulator games. Partially because I love trains but also because they let me pretend to be an engineer. I’m too physically broken to get the necessary seniority to do that irl, but simming it is the next best thing. (Down with dovetail. Come on Microsoft, show us a real train sim again)
FR I've never seen him before but from the quality I thought this video would have a tens of thousands of views, I was shocked to see you're the only comment. A future for him if he keeps this quality up.
As someone who has almost 7000hrs spent in Flight Simulator, I totally agree. Although I'm currently working on my commercial pilot's license in real life and I'm flying on my private pilot's license for almost 4 years now, flight sim is still so much fun for me :D I get to fly big commercial airliners in a close to real world environment, with today's possibillities of online networks providing ATC and real world procedures. So it is also a great learning tool. I'm currently going through the instrumentation chapter of my ATPL theory course and it's absolutely crazy how many pages I could already skip basically because they are just describing indications and layouts of some instruments used in airliners, which I've known for years because I use them in flight sim 😅 And for many years before I would also refrain from telling people about this "hobby" because it would be too "weird". But things like that seem to be way more accepted nowadays, as I've noticed.
As a fellow "dad gamer" I salute your video. What draws me to these real life simulation games is the possibility of doing things your own way at your own pace. In real life no one want to pay for someone making things truly right in the time it takes to make it right. Everything just have to be good enough asap which my ASD brain hates.
@automation7295 I fond it funny how the amount of time you need to wait before making jokes about something has gotten shorter and shorter Like holocaust jokes generally aren't seen as okay 9/11 jokes it's on the border of being okay And then the titan sub we were making jokes about it imploding before we even knew what the fuck happened to it
@Deepleswanseavalleybusspotter does TSW5 atleast have a career mode because it's predecessors dont have a career mode where you can take contracts make money and expand your empire
Honestly I love Farming Simulator, Euro Truck and Car Mechanic Sim, and not gonna lie, it doesn't sound exciting to drive a virtual truck for 500kms with nothing but a radio, or harvest and plow fields all day over and over, or even buy and install parts for 2 hours on a car, but once you try them they somehow get fun and make you spend many hours, or even days doing tedious tasks without it getting boring, and that's what I love about those games
One thing these games prove is that we as humans actually like the ordinary jobs we've created (why else would we do them in our free time with no compensation), it's just the relation to it we have as employees that makes them straining.
I am a train conductor that's into Train Sims but I try to follow the actual rules just like while I am at work. Its not a perfect simulation but it is not a bad activity for honing skills and learning actual operating practices. I will practice certain procedures as much as the games will allow to help me gain a better understanding of my profession. It's actually been quite helpful as just taking a train in a yard and playing around with it is not something that happens in the real world. You kinda get put on a train and if something crazy happens you just have to figure it out, do it without breaking a rule and do it in a way that doesn't get anyone hurt or killed. No pressure. Lol
Playing Farming Simulator and mainly doing all the stuff with frontloaders and so on, made me get the controls of a read mini-excavator I drove at my brothers house in like 2 minutes. It just felt so ... natural, even tho one was simulated and the other real. And I had that Truck Sim Moment as well... driving down a road at night, listening to radio.... it just is so relaxing and the world seems a little bit more bright at those times.
I have a similar story lol fell into the sim world with ATS and its just amazing, its so fun and satisfying learning new real skills, using a legit controller for the sim - wheel, HOTAS stick, flight yolk, is extremely satisfying. I dream about flying and driving now, more aware of those fields, industries, what it takes to do it, etc. I think the driving simulators make me a better driver even! If you like flight sim and have not yet tried it, check out Elite Dangerous its an awesome "space sim" and doesnt need anything crazy in terms of controller, a flight stick and throttle will do and is just amazing.
There's a polish train simulator called MaSzyna (very popular amongst train enthusiasts in PL). I've been playing it since 2013 and despite it being pretty simple in terms of graphics and scenarios I still cannot resist driving a fast express train in a heavy rain during the night on the route I've driven atleast 300 times. If the sim tracked how much time I've spent on it, It would probably be around 3-4k hours. You know, there is something magical in it even if it's the most repetitive thing you could imagine.
I agree. I moved on from Euro Truck Sim to American T.S. Now I'm more into Lawn Mower sim (a la Forest Gump). I'm currently watching your vid on one screen whilst playing Ship Graveyard Sim 2 on another, breaking and recycling old hulks of beached ships - very satisfying.
I get it. I'm also a euro truck SIM driver on occasion - I think I first naught it because it looked cool and interesting and once I got several garages and drivers and the company is making millions it's on the one hand fun to just drive around visiting the locations and on the other boring as there isn't much challenge anymore (for me) so I haven't loaded it in ages, but on occasion when I'm bored or anxious about playing other games but still want to space out with the mundane I'd go in and just drive. It's been getting so many changes in the past few years that I nearly recognized the main menu last time and had to learn most of the keys again (k&m player here, no wheel or controller for me)
Very well made video, earned a sub! As for me personally I do love Train Sim World games. It's like a perfect way of keeping my attention on something but I don't have to be putting 100% effort or focus in. I have always loved trains and seeing as my applications IRL keep on getting rejected it's the next best thing!
On games with both sides of some transport, like how simrail has dispatcher can make for a way greater perspecrive shift, to know some better or worse patterns experienced oneself, to really empethise with colleages
I would love a game with the scale of ATS/ETS, but for cars. Imagine taking a drive in a realistically modeled and sound-designed Audi on a road trip from Dallas Texas to Miami Florida while listening to your favorite radio station in the background (Yea I know The Crew exists but the physics are horrible and it’s not really made for just a relaxing trip, it’s a racing game and the map isn’t all that big; 40ish minutes from coast to coast)
I think another thing about these games is just the novelty aspect. It's the parts the the other games all cut out or skip past, so it's not something you often expect to see in a game, and it's cool to try new things.
I recently started playing ETS2(My first sim game) after years of playing shooter games and pvp stuff and it was a big change for me. Also playing with a bunch of mods and a good steering wheel makes it 1000 times better. Love driving around Europe at night while raining!
Ive always played simulators, my favorite genre. Recently i become a Truck driver and got few bigger machinery licenses, Im not sure why i love these games so much, i either like big things or im a workaholic and i like to work for free when off work
There is also MaSzyna. It's an old Polish Railway simulator, it's free, open source and still developed while being like 22 years old. It's also used by PKP itself (Polish State Railways). Has most trains and rolling stock used in Poland and couple of missions on busy Polish lines.
Some of my fav "boring" (relaxing) games Farming simulator Mudrunner (can vary on what you're doing) Minecraft (creative mode) Car mechanic simulator Cities skylines Gold mining simulator
I will load train sim classic and drive a train of trucks to a city that I have on my ets 2 map. Then I switch games and drive a truck from that city to a final destination. It's super fun!
ETS2 gave me a chance to do long drives without having to pay for gas, and deal with real world shenanigans. Side note, I actually able to back up a trailer IRL because of ETS2.
ETS2 as a 12 yo is what started my love of simulation games, im autistic and trucks are a huge interest of mine. Im now pondering what flight simulator is the best so i can save up for it because im getting interested in planes now too 😊
Apples + spacing out = a crash + TMP + other users = rest time offline. See the ryme? Good video by the way. The stuff you tell is true. I have more than 3000 hours in ETS2, thus I know.
People would go out and do these jobs as hobbies if they could just do them when they felt like it instead of being obligated after having jumped through hoops upon hoops and paid actual money just to get the license, insurance, training etc. (This includes basic cleaning jobs.) That's why i like programmes like amazons flex and uber etc as you can just jump on whenever you feel like it even though the money is terrible.
I didnt realize you were just a small creator with the quality of your videos lol i figured you would have at least 30k+ subscribers but you have less that 1k! Your videos have such a good quality my guy, you deserve more!
You know.. since i have VR.. i do play 'boring' games. Flight simulator.. i got over 400 hours, it's only because of the idea of being able to visit any place in the world. Especially places i have been before are really enjoyable, it's just awesome to recognise it and replaying memories of holidays and stuff. I also did euro truck.. man oh man.. it's... i don't why, but it was quite relaxing at some point i found a mod that would only play the radio stations of the country you were driving in.. it was a great way of learning new music. Nowadays it's mostly flight simulator.. some good songs or a podcast and i'll be flying for hours. Elite dangerous is also cool, i never felt so lonely.. space is so big and empty and that was just our galaxy.. i tried to visit our blackhole smack in the middle of our galaxy, but somewhere along the way, i gave up.. it was too far, it's too much nothingness, i was really in the middle of nowwhere, but a real cool experience for something i could never really experience. It was what i think a really good taste of what space travel is.. it's boring, haha.. our planet is awesome.. ;)
Flight simulator saved my life one day while I was training to get my plane license I was flying solo cross country during my ppl which if you don’t know during that time you fly by looking outside and not rely on instruments however I was an og flight simmer so when I encountered fog I managed to fly level till I out ran the fog if it wasn’t for simulators I would have been upside down So never let someone tell you that you are wasting your time
Euro Truck Simulator is a Space Sim it's sad because the actual "space sims" out nowadays are so terrible that you'd think the genre was wrong, and people attribute the excitement of a space sim to the menial tasks, but it's just a skin over a very old formula, one that SHOULD include spaceships and lasers and pirates. If you took out the Space Sim elements trucking by itself would be immensely boring.
Euro truck simulator 2, the best game I've ever played so far Firstly, I thought this games was so bored, not exciting, not much challenging like other simracing games i've played. Until I downloaded & played it myself After that, Im fall in love with this game from the very very first try. This game was so relaxing, just enjoy driving around europe with beautiful trucks & scenery. I can feel the pure enjoyment on this game. ETS 2 now become my go to sim game, & I left my simracing games for a while. I played it everyday to relax my mind. I will touch my simracing game again if there's any simracing league in 2025
I love ETS2. So relaxing. Couldn’t get into Bus Simulator though, having to deal with tickets and cash, trying to catch fare dodgers, too much work for me as be be relaxing. (and for me) the worst of all was trying to keep to timings. I Hate chasing the clock. Flight Sim is just too complicated for my tiny mind, and the long flights got a bit boring. I’ve not tried Train Sim, purely for the hate I have of chasing the clock.
For me, it's having the ability to drink and drive to my hearts content without the risk of hurting anybody or the liability that comes with it. I mean, that's what video games are all about right? Being able to do things in a virtual world that you can't/won't do in real life?
These games are not boring. They are relaxing. There's a huge difference.
you think maneuvering a 4 trailer truck is relaxing?
@NoobDude929 no but flying a 737 or A320 is tho but only for one to two hours other wise it will get boring
virtually drunk driving is fun

Would be sick if these games all joined forces to make a "total logistics simulator"
Good idea

I'm learning to be a mechanic, I've always been a car enthusiast.Part of being a car enthusiast is the fast cars - F1, or my personal favourite WRC. But to truly appreciate that, you gotta appreciate things like touring cars, something a bit slower, or even lorries. I love euro truck, it's both fascinating and relaxing
People always tell me I'm crazy for liking Euro Truck and Train Sim World, until they actually play it themselves... then they're addicted!
1200hrs in ETS2 - very therapeutic.
I'm a train driver and I play TSW5 in my free time. I only wish that game had a less scummy money hungry developers
@@kristenburnout1 yess that is actually the best on steam for trains imo
My first train sim was Train Simulator 2017. Which for those who don’t know, came with Caltrains San Francisco - San Jose route preinstalled. A route that they want like $40 for, and half (if not all) the scenarios are broken/uncompleatable. Dovetail needs some massive improvements
Yeah, I used to play TSW too, left it because of DTG. I personally switched to Open Rails, basically infinite content, 90% being free
0:15 "doing a figure of 8 around 2 skyscrapers" is feral asf
If you enjoy those simulators I would recommend trying Farming Simulator as well.

Just 2 critiques as a viewer:
Use the B roll from the game you're talking about, such as when you were talking about ETS, but showing clips from a painting sim of sorts, it helps us visualise what you're talking about even if it's not exactly the same thing.
Be careful for volume spikes, a noticeable one is at 5:22, the volume increases quite sharply, I presume this is a cut between 2 speaking segments and you had the mic in a different place.
I agree a lot with the first one, didn't really notice the second one as much. Overall he is very entertaining and enjoying 👍
Its not a replacement, but its a nice way to pass the time and still do some of the things I can't in real life
as someone in a similar seat, unable to work, thank you for this mention, gaming is a lovely escape from limits we have.
I know the game you mentioned and played it all day long. Flashbacks...
This video perfectly encapsulates the feeling of enjoying simulator games, great job!
It's the core gameplay loop. It's longer, less intense, reward payout is delayed more. Appeals to different parts of the brain. More endorphine than adrenaline.
I wouldn't call those games boring. Ets2 is very fun and relaxing which is perfect mix. I can just pick a cargo, put my favourite music and drive...
Playing American Truck Simulator made me go back to school at aged 48 to get my CDL!
me and my friend started playing supermarket together which you can guess is just running a supermarket but there is so much to it you can buy new products level up your store ward of thieves buy new security systems and employ cashiers and stockers that stock the store and you need to manage the products in the shelves so they dont run out every electrical thing like a tv or self checkout has an electricity cost that you need to know and you need to build decorations in the staff room so the employees become more effective safe to say we completed the game got every upgrade every product and all achievements
Boring games? I prefer the term "Dad Games"
I absolutely love train simulator games. Partially because I love trains but also because they let me pretend to be an engineer. I’m too physically broken to get the necessary seniority to do that irl, but simming it is the next best thing. (Down with dovetail. Come on Microsoft, show us a real train sim again)
underrated youtuber
FR I've never seen him before but from the quality I thought this video would have a tens of thousands of views, I was shocked to see you're the only comment. A future for him if he keeps this quality up.
I was already debating on getting ETS2 since its on sale by a lot rn...
i think you pushed me over the edge :3
0:16 if you know, you know....
ahhh… stress free gaming, the pinnacle of gaming..
and no im not being sarcastic, really, I love these!
As someone who has almost 7000hrs spent in Flight Simulator, I totally agree. Although I'm currently working on my commercial pilot's license in real life and I'm flying on my private pilot's license for almost 4 years now, flight sim is still so much fun for me :D
I get to fly big commercial airliners in a close to real world environment, with today's possibillities of online networks providing ATC and real world procedures. So it is also a great learning tool.
I'm currently going through the instrumentation chapter of my ATPL theory course and it's absolutely crazy how many pages I could already skip basically because they are just describing indications and layouts of some instruments used in airliners, which I've known for years because I use them in flight sim
😅
And for many years before I would also refrain from telling people about this "hobby" because it would be too "weird". But things like that seem to be way more accepted nowadays, as I've noticed.
Not like I became a train driver because of Train Sim World or something...
Wait until you find out there are those of us like me who work on the railways driving trains then come home and play train simulator LOL
As a fellow "dad gamer" I salute your video. What draws me to these real life simulation games is the possibility of doing things your own way at your own pace. In real life no one want to pay for someone making things truly right in the time it takes to make it right. Everything just have to be good enough asap which my ASD brain hates.
Figure 8 around 2 sky scrapers is wild
I knew there's still people who get offended when someone mentions "planes" and "buildings" in the same sentence.
It's been 23 years since 9/11.
@automation7295 I fond it funny how the amount of time you need to wait before making jokes about something has gotten shorter and shorter
Like holocaust jokes generally aren't seen as okay
9/11 jokes it's on the border of being okay
And then the titan sub we were making jokes about it imploding before we even knew what the fuck happened to it
Playing these games are like breathing fresh air after 2000 hours of FPS multiplayer competition games.
I call them fresh air games.
Train simulator needs a career mode
No its TSW5 *Train Sim World 5*
@Deepleswanseavalleybusspotter does TSW5 atleast have a career mode because it's predecessors dont have a career mode where you can take contracts make money and expand your empire
it wouldnt work because those games dont have a singular big map like ets or mfs. They have hundreds of different smaller maps (routes).
@@Down_the_deep_dark_hole nope
Try out derail valley, it has career and goes way more into detail and the devs aren't greedy
Lol
Remember, if you play these games, chances are you could get a license and a job based on these.
I am not allowed to play "Non boring games". They are fun, but they get boring fast depending on what it is.
i cured my fear of flying thanks to flight simulation!
Watching this whilst playing farming simulator you should try it
ATS got me listening to audiobook, which got me reading again, whch got me writing agin... It's pure meditation in game form.
It's been getting so many changes in the past few years that I nearly recognized the main menu last time and had to learn most of the keys again (k&m player here, no wheel or controller for me)
There is probably a reason why i have 300+ hours in The Long Drive...
Name a better game to relax after doing missions in Deadside for 6 hours than ETS2
Very well made video, earned a sub!
As for me personally I do love Train Sim World games. It's like a perfect way of keeping my attention on something but I don't have to be putting 100% effort or focus in. I have always loved trains and seeing as my applications IRL keep on getting rejected it's the next best thing!
It's not boring games. It's relaxing games.
On games with both sides of some transport, like how simrail has dispatcher can make for a way greater perspecrive shift, to know some better or worse patterns experienced oneself, to really empethise with colleages
Been driving in ETS2 and ATS for over 4 years now. I only stopped driving so much now cause I started driving IRL.
I was the same way with American Truck Simulator, I didn't understand why it would be fun, until I played it.
Short answer: The 'tism
People who play simulator games are smart they're curious to know how things work
Ive always played simulators, my favorite genre. Recently i become a Truck driver and got few bigger machinery licenses, Im not sure why i love these games so much, i either like big things or im a workaholic and i like to work for free when off work
Derail Valley is the best train sim :D
Try Railroader too
its more of a rail management simulator taking place during the steam-diesel transition era but you still get to drive the trains
There is also MaSzyna. It's an old Polish Railway simulator, it's free, open source and still developed while being like 22 years old. It's also used by PKP itself (Polish State Railways). Has most trains and rolling stock used in Poland and couple of missions on busy Polish lines.
@racingraptor4758 Thanks I will look into this. Meaning to go back to train sims, I got put off when I damaged my expensive RailDriver.
I didn't know these were boring games
Some of my fav "boring" (relaxing) games
Farming simulator
Mudrunner (can vary on what you're doing)
Minecraft (creative mode)
Car mechanic simulator
Cities skylines
Gold mining simulator
I failed at Cities Skylines so many times I should give it another try
tbf, Cities Skylines is one of the least boring of the bunch when you're playing your cards right
Really well made video, you really have the skills to become a very good RUclipsr
I played ETS2 a couple months back and I'm now currently booked in to get my HGV licence in another couple months
Ah yes. Me and 500 page pdf of F-16 manual
Havent touched a flight simulator in 10 years and i havent played ets but i sure do love snowrunner and mudrunner
I don't care if these games are boring. I will not give them a chance. I will not open my mind into simulator games.
Nice video essay. Enjoyed it very much 👍
I can't say a train simulator like ZuSi 3 is relaxing at all, especially fuсking ETCS lol
stress free boring ? sounds like stalker gamma ironman
ETS2 as a 12 yo is what started my love of simulation games, im autistic and trucks are a huge interest of mine. Im now pondering what flight simulator is the best so i can save up for it because im getting interested in planes now too 😊
tsw5 calms my soul, i just love that game
Apples + spacing out = a crash + TMP + other users = rest time offline. See the ryme?
Good video by the way. The stuff you tell is true. I have more than 3000 hours in ETS2, thus I know.
I’ll keep my ATS and ETS2 and they can have their “words with friends”. Thank you very much
People would go out and do these jobs as hobbies if they could just do them when they felt like it instead of being obligated after having jumped through hoops upon hoops and paid actual money just to get the license, insurance, training etc. (This includes basic cleaning jobs.) That's why i like programmes like amazons flex and uber etc as you can just jump on whenever you feel like it even though the money is terrible.
You should try derail valley
It was what i think a really good taste of what space travel is.. it's boring, haha.. our planet is awesome.. ;)
u cant mention simulator games without trying farming simulator, you should try it!
Flight simulator saved my life one day while I was training to get my plane license I was flying solo cross country during my ppl which if you don’t know during that time you fly by looking outside and not rely on instruments however I was an og flight simmer so when I encountered fog I managed to fly level till I out ran the fog if it wasn’t for simulators I would have been upside down
So never let someone tell you that you are wasting your time
Euro Truck Simulator is a Space Sim
it's sad because the actual "space sims" out nowadays are so terrible that you'd think the genre was wrong, and people attribute the excitement of a space sim to the menial tasks, but it's just a skin over a very old formula, one that SHOULD include spaceships and lasers and pirates. If you took out the Space Sim elements trucking by itself would be immensely boring.
Euro truck simulator 2, the best game I've ever played so far
Firstly, I thought this games was so bored, not exciting, not much challenging like other simracing games i've played. Until I downloaded & played it myself
After that, Im fall in love with this game from the very very first try.
People who hate themselves - rainbow six siege
I already play ats, msfs, tsw4, and bus sim next stop, these games arent boring, they’re relaxing and sometimes fun if your playing with friends…
You deserve more subs frr
After all I’m suck at competitive video games😭🙏🏽
ETS2, I used to use my Xbox Controller too! Now I use Logitech G29.
