Your videos are absolutely the best! Really let's me get to know the terrain, town size, history, intersections, etc before deciding my route. Whatever info you provide is great appreciated! Thank you!

Good video: and not much traffic that time of morning. And it's an interesting contrast: high desert, then ag land, and some canyon country. Good to see you're headed to Bryce Canyon. I was there back in the late '70s, but haven't been there since. Beautiful views from the lookouts!

Thanks Kyle! This drive reminds me of my youth when we used to take day trips from my grandparents house in Richfield to Bryce Canyon. Not much has changed on that route in 30 years!

Was about to go to sleep when you posted this. & you're right- US 89 in Utah has great scenery. & it doesn't feel as lonely as traveling on either US-6 or US 50 (east of Fallon) in Nevada.

Indeed! I haven’t been on much of US-89 in the rest of the state but google maps tells me it’s a very nice ride as well.

I like the latitude and hours of daylight feature. It gives a bit of a feel for the place.

Kyle - yes, please, to the latitude information! It's very interesting to see, and a fascinating way of looking at the world.
I live just south of the 57th Parallel North in Scotland, which equates to about 60 miles north of Thompson, Manitoba in North America, or over 500 miles north of the 49th Parallel. Our daylight at the Summer Solstice is just under 19 hours, and it's always dusk when looking north even at midnight. It's rather less inviting in mid-winter, though!
Great video as always, Kyle. I only made it as far north up US-89 as Panguitch back in 2000, so it's great to see what I missed out on - I need to come back! We were on our way from Cedar Breaks to Bryce Canyon.

Thank you! I’ve only been as far as the 50th parallel so I would love to go farther north and see the midnight sun for myself, maybe one day.

Almost look like grassy plains encased by mountains. Didn't expect to see that for Utah.

    Keep on going with it.

The 38th parallel fact is a neat idea. However, your facts about US-89 at about 10:25 would be more suited for a flat area, not during some of the more interesting rock formations in the whole video.

When I was in Panguitch there was a sign on U-143 that said "This is not US 89".

Utah is a fantastic state to drive through.

I think adding the parallel of latitude is a great idea. I watch a lot of road trip videos, and I often wish they would tell what highway they're on, going in what direction, what the start an end points are, and what time of year. Your maps are impossible for me to read on my computer -- the type is too small, and the orientation to state lines and such is not visible.
