It's a shame that he has been guilt tripped into the 'whites are guests in the house of hip-hop' ideology. He could have turned the screws even further on Suge Knight had he been willing to. What with what happened with Harry O and Lydia Harris. I recently read that Knight tried his shit with Scott Storch too.

I would not describe it as an ideology as it is fact that hip hop celebrates black culture to the fullest but yet invites people of different races to be involved. To be in hip hop you first have to pay black culture it’s rightful due. You cannot just come in and dismiss years of hardship and the very reasons why black children turned to turntables and sampling machines to get musically creative. In the days of the greats like Temptations,
Motown and the upcoming of Michael Jackson white America did everything it could to deprive black schools of music classes and instruments. Hip hop is a miracle born, a ghetto rose that was planted by black hands for the children of the struggle, but if you want to get down you have to at least acknowledge and respect this

In this interview, he says he went to Benny Hana's, in another interview, he said he was at the Palm Restaurant. He's always messing up his story. I remember on Behind the Music, he said that Suge Knight threatened him and then they showed another interview where Rob (Vanilla Ice) was kissing Suge's ass and changing his story. I also recall on MTV's 25 Lame countdown, Rob said that he was sick of "Ice Ice Baby" but yet he loves to talk about it and even made a metal version of it earlier.

      Listen bros...
Suge met him 2 twice and yes,2 different restaurants...
I got a new version recorded in 2020 and guess who tell and explain the storie? DJ EARTHQUAKE and 1 of his dancer at the time(hitech)... when i saw that version,it make my jaw drop...
Dont forget that ICE has to protect himself and of curse, his family. You dont mess with bloods or Crips trust me....
About the 25 lame, that was only to promote his album hard to swallow,my personal opinion. ROB loves and still love sing the original ICE ICE BABY. Thats the song who made him famous and rich.
So again,i know ROB,and yes sometimes you cannot explain the whole stories when you can be a target by bloods members etc ...
Ps: i dont have the rights to showed the 2020 film version here on youtube by ICE himself, his DJ earthquake and 1 of his dancer(hitech) because they gonna supposed to promote that film, the full lengh is about 1h40min they explain the real stories about ICE ICE BABY.🙂💁‍♂️🐢🖖👌

Ummm if he is 56 now, how the hell could he be 19 when it blew up, considering that happened in the second half of 1990 and only went to no 1 in November? He was 22 when this song blew up, but he keeps saying 19. And don’t get me started about the 160 million records sold. There is no certifiable count that gets anywhere near even 10% of that number

Rob is born in oct 31st 1967
His 1st record was not to the extreme, but Hooked was release in 1989 and to the extreme was release in 1990 so in fact he was 23yo when it blew up.
I dont think he says that willingly, BUT i know Rob, he like twist some words and exagerated. I know by fact he didnt sold 160M records.... by my source was near 20M records WORLDWIDE of to the extreme.
May he tought his ice ice baby video once people watch it mean a record sell 😅😅😅
Idk why he even says he still sell 1 or 2M Records a year.... i mean cmon. Nobody bought any records today. Mostly younger kids enven me now download for FREE on many platform.
He still my idol even with this kind of lies. Btw Hes a good dude in person, really like his fans and always take the time for his fans to take selfie, signed autograph etc.
      We love you ROB 😊👌
