just realised how many parallels kiss of life has with blackpink… four members, a thai main dancer and lead rapper, a korean main rapper and korean main vocalist who are both fluent in english from having lived abroad, and a korean lead vocalist. they’re like.. an upgraded blackpink, definitely more skilled as a group in vocals and dance and also more passionate. not to mention belle is a fully-fledged song writer and composer. can’t wait to see where they go :)

Idk why they do so, if it's because SM says so or the girls prefer it. I'm not saying they can't sing or that they're not a good group. I think I love almost every aespa song, but that doesn't mean they're a group which would fit in the same column as Mamamoo or Kiss of Life. Other groups that "would" fit in my criteria are, maybe, most JYP girl groups. Oh, and Red Velvet would too, but I guess they debuted before Mamamoo (I can't remember, sorry: in that case I should edit my previous comment). Spica is (was) definitely a group for this criteria, but I don't count them as they disbanded and because I think they also debuted before Mamamoo.
@@MicaelaQuinzio actually sm is playing a smart move cause nowadays they actually do sing live but during times like savage era the voice layering is hard to cover and SM artists have intense songs so most of their older artists have strained it like tayeon almost lost her voice and seulgi strains her voice alot cause she has been singing a lot since pre debut and they are trying to save their voices which is good for the group and the artist in future.
솔직히 키옵라 잘 모르고 처음 봤을 때 나띠나 쥴리 벨만보고 하늘 얹혀가는 멤버 인 줄 알았는데 그냥 완전 실력파였던거임…. 제대로 감겨버림,, 전부 실력이나 아우라가 전혀 신인같지 않고 맨날 비슷한 느낌의 여돌만 보다가 키옾라 보니깐 너무 특색있고 좋음.. 컨셉 크게 바뀌지 않고 그대로 갔으면 더 떠라!! 응원해요!!

Haneul is really a hidden gem. In their behind the scenes of recording the song, Haneul mentioned she's still going to vocal lessons. She mentioned specifically working on vibrato. So id assume theyre all still going to training sessions to get better.
