- Out with a first bash with the new Arrma Vorteks 4x4 3s. Such an amazing little ripper and tough as nails! The lower stance, setup and Katar tires make her the prefect speed basher and great for the track! Running bone stock out of the box in the first run then switched to a steel spur and 20 tooth optional pinion for a quick street test. Overall I'm super impressed with this truck and the fun factor is there straight out of the box! No breaks other than the plastic spur! HUGE shoutout to Arrma and Horizon for another awesome option in the 3s 1/10 scale lineup!! Thanks for watching!

Love my vorteks, I don’t jump it or really bash I just drive around fast and do wheelies but it’s cool seeing someone take it to it’s limits 👍

I wouldn't be jumping it and doing too much stupid stuff with it because I've had to send my car back well let's see this is the third car that they sent me now since I've owned it and it's been in the mail and that Champaign Illinois out there workshop more than it's been at my house and now the spur gear is out of it it just doesn't stop spend almost $400 on a remote control car and all they do is break constantly. And I don't bash mine that hard either I just fly up and down the street with the ride Willies I don't really have nothing to jump around here attract to take it too so I just drive around the yard and up and down the street. But I've had several issues with it I don't know if it is worth the money or not.

By chance you completely broke in half all I was just doing is driving up and down the street putting the bigger tooth in South bass had to get going with GPS I get fast as I go I was like 58 and flying down the street. Inside me the rear end just decided to break off and they said it was because I put aluminum aftermarket parts on it made it too stiff I don't think so I think they're full of s*** I don't think they know what what the hell they're doing we're dealing with China here I'm pretty sure her more worried about going to war than anything but that Vortex is a piece of s***.

Picked mine up yesterday and I took it out today... all I can say is that ARRMA did a great job with it. Wish the BigRock had this radio.

Nice job. I really like the surface you were running on. Almost like clay. It's absolutely Amazing how you did a perfect front flip with a 360 horizontal rotation. I had to watch that a few times. The Vortex sure held up well with the massive jumps. Beautiful... 👍👍💯💯

Finally the bash/durability test I been waiting for!
I picked one up yesterday. 1 wheelie and turn abd the front left wheel flew off. The hex hub thankfully stayed in the tire. Loctighted the 2mm head holding the hex drive to the hub through the drive shaft. Going to try it again tomorrow. Excited to get it going.
I just got mines today in the Red/White/Blue and I fell in love with this RC. I'm so glad to invest my money in it.

Man I’ve now watched this and the Kraton 4S video WOW awesome. It’s a toss up between these to Arrma’s for my first RC. What I really like about both of them is they seem pretty darn stable. That’s what I’m looking for. I’m definitely not gonna be a high flying basher like you are. I just want something it’s gonna be awesome to really zip around with, and of course hit jumps. Not sure what the price uptic as should be same as BRCC but fair play this is now rival to the Traxxas Russler and still $50 cheaper I think and arguably better out the box.

Thank you i been stuck on what 3s 1/10 truck to buy for weeks was very close to buy the redcat mt10e the hoss before that than the bigrock v3 lol but than seen information on this truck and you're video ill be riding it the same way. Think with some tire upgrades would help

Great truck I've got several rc cars nitro and electric it reminds me of my losi ten mt I've changed the motor it was getting to hot with original motor it came with changed the motor plus I've got a motor fan it stays perfect temp now iam getting a bigger pinion gear does 50 plus as it is I've got 17 millimeter hexs and aka tyres it has AVC Great video proper review 👍
The thing that stood out to me the first time I drove it was how responsive the steering is, it turns in so fast!
Is the front end really soft on your one Eric? Did you insert any of the pre load spacers? I drove my mates one and it is fast and fun, just surprised me how little dampening the front end had, the rear feels good, but I don't know if his one just doesn't have enough oil or if that is normal? Can't wait to hit the ramps this week!
Yeah I did end up adding preload on the fronts after the first two packs. They are a little soft for sure. I'll probably be looking at a shock upgrade anyway soon! Bash on bro!!😎💪🤘🤘
@@RCDUDE81 thanks mate, that's great info, we added a little preload and took the cars down to the skate park, the kids loved it, I didn't film it, but we had a blast, that vorteks is so fast, even with the stock pinion fitted.

I got mine yesterday in green and blue and think it looks amazing and runs amazing! Only negative is the range, I'm only getting like 25 yards and it goes into safe mode. I have to take it apart and see if the antenna got pinched or something..

Man I think she definitely got put through her paces she's a brute. And that quick save was sick. How much control do you have in the air with out diffing out? The tires look like they are on the light side a bit. Really makes me want to buy the wing n put it on the granite or senton even. Thanks for an awesome bash showing what it's capable of.🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

My 3 Svorteks only give me 20mah even at 20 pinion. Even on tarmac, all four wheels are bulging while driving..

So I love the vortex very nice rc. But the 3.8 proline trencher tires on the kraton I am not thrilled about. Nice tires dont get me wrong but i lost a lot of turning radius with the wider tires might go back to stock

Nice vid! If you could only afford to buy one, which would you buy; Vorteks, Big Rock or Typhon? For drivability, jumping, off-road (dirt and grass) and general bashing? The RC will be for my 6 year old son’s Birthday, so it’s kind of a big deal on getting him something he’ll handle and not hate the hobby.
I'd honestly say the Big Rock is the most versatile! Holds down power nice and has the ground clearance to tackle any terrain. Also jumps nice and has great stunting ability.😎👊

You need to try it with senton wheels it handles really good with the smaller wheel with the higher pionion
