I don't have any problem with how Nick rates Purdy or this year's Vikings. My problem is just the goal post moving. I've heard so many people say with Purdy "well if he does X THEN he'll be legit" and then he does it and they add a new "well if he does X". With the Vikings this year, I've heard it every single game after the Giants win. "Well if they beat the 49ers, well if they beat the Texans, well if they beat the Packers in Lambeau, well if they beat the Jets". Just stop it, don't add some conditional modifier or achievement that would suddenly make you believe. Just SAY you doubt the team.

Chiefs defense has become top tier since last year under Spags and Chris Jones that the offense can play
C- football in September, October and still be (5-0). defense & run game allows Mahomes & Reid to be conservative in September & October, build the pass game offense w new rookie & veteran castaway WR's each year and save their best plays & peak performance for the playoffs like last year!! Defense & Mahomes is a terrifying combination. No better coaching duo for the big games than Reid & Spags and the gap feels quite large honestly. It feels inevitable w Kansas City.
Not sure what can stop them at this point. Im still holding out a shred of hope that the 49ers can turn things around. But it will all be for nothing if they have to face the Chiefs in the Super Bowl again.

What people don't seem to realize is that the Vikings still have the Titans, Colts, Jaguars, Rams, Cardinals, Seahawks, Bears, and Bears on the schedule. That's at the very worst 6-2.

I typically like Nick Wright but it's utterly ridiculous to have the Bills and Packers on the same line as the Lions. The Ravens loss to the Raiders is a blip but the Lions loss to a better game is concerning 🤔.
