I guess I may be the first person ever to say something negative about 8 East...!!! I took a quick trip to Vegas in February 2023, and I didn't stay at Circa, but I made a point of stopping by to check the place out, because it was so new, and really looked incredible. I specifically planned my afternoon around doing a little lunch date at 8 East because I had heard so many good things about it. I was very underwhelmed by the experience. I can't remember the exact name of what I ordered, but it was the equivalent of a dry, bland stir fry. I recall the service being fairly lackluster as well. But with that said!!! I would give the place another shot. I would love to stay at Circa sometime, because the rooms look spectacular, as we can see from your video. You describe it perfectly when you say it blends the cozy and quaint feeling of Downtown with the epic-ness of the Strip. From one Canadian to another... Thanks for all the great kontent 👽
appreciated your thorough explanation of the pool that actually talked about the cost, experience, and also great shots of the actual space. been debating for months now on a daybed vs water couch vs cabana. ultimately deciding on doing an afternoon day bed since it's one of the fewest weekday pools that stay open past dinner time!
I'm impressed. I lived in Vegas for 19 years (I left nearly 15 years ago) and always felt downtown had a lot more potential than what the Freemont Street Experience provided. If I ever decide to visit some day I'd be willing to give this resort serious consideration. Thanks for the nice tour. Well done.
I was in vegas last year, stayed at the golden nugget, walked across the street to circa, and I was really impressed. Great restaurants, very nice casino

I love the editing. Hey it doesn’t hurt to just drop it in there. You’re doing a good job. Bathroom looks wonderful. Fantastic. Everybody needs a little little help sometimes.
Great video! We’re giving that a try this August when we come out for the killers. We spent an afternoon at Circa when we were there last month, and really enjoyed it.
We booked the $400 all in deal for July. We usually stay on the strip with comps but love going up Fremont. This will be a great way to experience staying on Fremont. Hope to gain some comps from this stay. Have reservations for Barry’s.
Thanks for this review Aly. The prices really jumped for the month of September, which is when we plan to visit Vegas. Your suggestions were terrific as usual. Can you make more videos about Mexico and specifically Mexico City and Oaxaca? Thanks!
Victory Burger is one of our favorite places to eat when in Vegas! Burgers, wings and onion rings are honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. I’ve stayed there twice when they first opened and wasn’t disappointed. However, they blast that music to the point it’s uncomfortable at times, so we usually go there to eat, play enough to get food credits and head somewhere else. Great review!
We haven't had a chance to stay there yet, but we love Circa. I'm surprised you didn't get drink service... that's one of the highlights when we've played there... I tell people it reminds me of the old vegas where the drinks were just coming and coming. And yeah, that sportsbook, my thing, is just amazing!!! Thanks for your insights, that does sound like a great deal.
As you mentioned - Circa has the largest Sports Book in the world! And if you like the classic hard-to-find pastrami sandwich - the deli serves a great one!
It’s a good deal. Victory burger is also a pretty solid choice. I won’t gamble in Derek’s properties any more, the music is just ridiculously loud and the games are terrible odds. But I’ll go to his steakhouses, especially Andiamo at The D. Nice review.
Great vid and tips. The lack of shade at the pool would negate the package for me, though. Late May to late August in Vegas is brutal temp-wise (today, it's 111 degrees!). I hope they incorporate a few shade sails or umbrellas in spots at the pools that wouldn't obstruct views of the games. :)
Did the pool last July 108🥵that day with no shade was somewhat of a Debbie Downer! Are there restrictions on where you can use the $100 Food & $100 Beverage?
At Legacy, I think that all of the tables, both inside and outside, are only available for a fee. The bar stools are the only free seats in the house. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Stayed here couple of times, somewhat at the same area except not corner room. The weekends are better. The sports book is top notch, but i like staying at the strip better.
I'm a cheapskate but I have to admit that's a pretty good deal if that's where you want to hang out. The room was very nice and you're smart to BYOB. The hotel looks really nice too. Everything in the hotels are so expensive not only in the restaurants but the convenience stores too that we do that and bring some food as well. We usually look for a deal, stay one or two nights to see a show. We've also found that many hotels put a damage hold on your CC until your room is cleaned. The MGM properties do. I always get a printed bill at the front desk when it's not busy and find out how long the hold is and make sure it disappears off my CC. Gotta say though, we usually find a decent room for around a hundred a night including taxes, fees and parking, not including the show. We also eat at Whole Foods. And we don't waste money gambling any more. Too much else to do around town, my folks used to live there.
Thanks for the look around. I always thought this place was a little overpriced for “dumpy ol’ downtown”, but I might just give it a try. It’s no wonder they give away the day bed, when there is no shade provided, and 110 degrees…
Great video! Just curious what cell phone you are using to film this, as we are RUclipsrs as well and love the quality of the video of your cell phone. Thanks!
Circa is great! Get a players card, it doesn't take that much play to earn comp rooms & food credit. All of the food options have been really good, however, the wings at Victory Burger weren't worth it. Out of a pound of wings, half was thick breading, so not great on that item. Great review though! Add: The D and Golden Gate are part of the same ownership, any points earned at all 3 can be used at either of the 3.
Circa was built with a newer ventilation system that helps eliminate n the smoke..............................“Circa is the first casino in Las Vegas to use variable volume, under-floor air supply to serve the gaming floor. Under-floor air supply allows for a reduction in tonnage due to higher supply air temperature and lower supply air volume versus a standard overhead mixed-air system,” said Calahan. “The system brings in 100% outside air though plate-type heat exchangers before being conditioned to a supply temperature of 63°F (17.2°C). The room air is allowed to stratify with exhaust air captured at the ceiling and exhausted through the plate heat exchanger.” Calahan said this design also minimizes mixing of indoor air pollutants, such as cigarette smoke and airborne pathogens.

Nice but it drives me crazy there isn’t a balcony. Is there any balcony rooms ? That’s why i love the Cosmo-i like to get a corner room there so i have a sun balcony and a shade balcony. Why do so many Casnos in Vegas that don’t have balconies ? All rooms should have balconies-the air is dry -there’s no bugs -it’s nice to get fresh air and wake up out on there. I’m used to balconies on every hotel i stay at in Florida so this is weird to me how hard they are to find. Cosmo you will always have my business just for that alone.
Circa's All-In Summer Package is EASILY one of the best values in greater Vegas during the summer, alongside Plaza's All-Inclusive Package (and I'd still consider Circa's the superior one considering the Plaza isn't quite as nice as Circa). 😇 You're essentially getting double the value with this deal considering a daybed typically costs $300 like you said, the $100 in food credit, the $100 in beverage credit, and then the base price of the standard room coupled with the waived resort fee.
