The best education I ever got was when I visited my mother’s country in Vietnam in the early 90s as a young teen. I learned to become forever grateful for whatever I had. I saw poverty there at that time I had only seen on TV. You did the best you could in the circumstances you were in. You helped as many people as you could with the resources you had. I can see that. Tourism is not always good. Sextourism is just holding back people from peace and stability. Thailand and other countries in the same tourism need u corrupted politicians who can make Thailands ekonomi strong and Thailand not dependent of tourism. The world is so unjustice and it is getting just worse. It is go with donations but people need jobbs too.

I appreciate your "work". As somebody who lives here I can remember those days :People coming with children at 9am in the morning, queuing up, sitting on the hot pavement until 4 or 4.30pm to get their meal donation. I feel ashamed, too. I think many Thai people cannot organize help, so instead of giving food to "poor people" in dirty clothes (Hill tribe people in, C. M.) they buy flowers for 50 Baht or more and give it as in my opinion useless donation to the temple. May God bless you and your family

This is heartbreaking sadness. There are many situations, like this, all over the world of people just needing the basics to survive. Thank you for showing the needs of people in Thailand. I hope they all find food, shelter, clothing, education, work, and everything else they need to survive and, hopefully prosper, in the future.

I appreciate your "work". As somebody who lives here I can remember those days :People coming with children at 9am in the morning, queuing up, sitting on the hot pavement until 4 or 4.30pm to get their meal donation. I feel ashamed, too. I think many Thai people cannot organize help, so instead of giving food to "poor people" in dirty clothes (Hill tribe people in, C. M.) they buy flowers for 50 Baht or more and give it as in my opinion useless donation to the temple. May God bless you and your family
