@@yvesthesleeveThere are many Bangladeshi restaurants in the UK and Europe are often labeled as "Indian" or "Indian/Bangladeshi" cuisine can be traced back to the history of the Indian subcontinent before Bangladesh gained independence in 1971. Before the creation of Bangladesh, the region was part of British India, and the cuisine of the entire subcontinent was often referred to as "Indian food" in the West. When Bangladesh became an independent country, it still shared many culinary traditions with its neighboring regions, such as West Bengal in India, which is why the term "Indian" persisted in many restaurant names. Additionally, the large migration of people from the Indian subcontinent (including Bangladesh) to the UK and Europe, especially post-World War II, contributed to the dominance of the "Indian restaurant" label. Today, while some restaurants choose to reflect the distinction by calling themselves "Bangladeshi" or "Indian/Bangladeshi," many continue to use the broad "Indian" label due to its familiarity and the historical context of how South Asian cuisine was categorized.
I am amazed and overwhelmed to see how your family is enjoying bangladesh and our food. I am also amazed to see how you learn to eat with your hand. You will always get the best taste of food when you will eat with your hand. Thank you for showing my beautiful country. The red spinach you ate is only spinach but it's the red spinach. Enjoy your journey in bangladesh. I wish I were in bangladesh so I could invite your family to my house. Thank you again
OH MY GOD 😮🎉 I can't believe I'm watching a reporter Europian man from Switzerland eating a proper Bangladeshi meal WITH HIS HANDS with proper technique and not making a mess of it. I would definitely love to meet you and your family and extend you a proper Bangladeshi hospitality. If there's anything you need, or anything we can do to make your stay a little more comfortable, just ask. Thank you for the delightful sight❤

Oh gosh, what a crowd at that market place. The place is full of rickshaws. It was indeed a good lunch as you rated it 5/5 or 10/10. Glad to see the family enjoyed the food. Yeah, be extra careful when eating fish. Thanks for sharing your first lunch in Dhaka. Have a glorious weekend.
Omg bro ur family members already Bangladeshi.hope yours enjoy Bangladeshi food anf culture thanks you for visiting my country god bless you merry Christmas & happy new year
Bangladesh is the densely populated country in the world. A lot of people live and lead their life in this small country. We are happy with what we have, you will find the most content people here. We complain less and manage with whatever we have, that is our strength. I believe we are the most resilient people on earth.

It’s really good to see you exploring my country. Happy to see that you chose authentic food in some local place for lunch over some fabricated food in fancy restaurants. This is the proper way to experience Bangladesh I believe. And the way you ate with your hand, that was very appropriate, loved it. Swiss people are some of the most nicest I’ve ever met. Visited Zurich late last year. Loved every bit of it.
I'm glad to see you guys are eating with hands 😃 in our tradition, it's an overwhelming vibe and showing respect for food. Have a nice memorable journey in Bangladesh. And our traditional food is the world's famous Padma's Hilsha fish, Khichuri with beef, pitha's, Beef-Kalabhuna,Mejban etc. try this things.
The video randomly appeared on my feed, and the thumbnail looked interesting, so I decided to watch it. But I was shocked because usually, when tourists visit our country, they try biriyani or some of our rich, traditional dishes. However, you chose to try our everyday meals-the food we grew up eating-and you ate it so beautifully and respectfully that it’s hard to tell you’re from another country. On top of that, you managed to vlog so wonderfully in such a crowded setting with children around, which is truly impressive. I really enjoyed it.
Brilliant right hand eating method and blending with natives sure its very touching and loving. Most of all, the kids got used to it. Indeed, it's wonderful and brilliant.
Hand eating mastery. I am sure you have understood the pros of it, especially for eating Bangladeshi food. It is the best way. Well done mate. Welcome to Bangladesh.
Thank you so much Sir for visiting bangladesh. I must say we've a very large varieties of food which are very delicious which you won't find any other part of the world. Thanks again and a lot of love for your lovely kids.

How you walk through so many people in New Market really amazes me. I have seen many travel bloggers food bloggers in my life but never seen a real blogger like you. You blend in with everyone wherever you go. That thing surprised me that I have not seen from any other blogger. Love from the people of Bangladesh ❤️❤️

the best foreign family vlogger ever in Bangladesh i will say! really i wonder that you are travelling everywhere freely almost despite not knowing a single Bengali word even! really appreciated. and i liked your children very much, so cutie heavenly kids they are! you all really loving the Bangladeshi cuisines, nice to see it. btw Ian bro the restaurant Bondhu Bilash mean the something like "friendly entertainments". and the spinach like what you have eaten at lunch is call LalShak - Red amaranth, its a common vegetables with rice.
it’s been very nice to see a swiss men and his family here in our country and eating our traditional food almost same as we eat.❤❤❤❤ Oh....men,you just shocked me,how possible is it? i am proud of being a Bangladeshi and also proud of you.
Over the years there are many many Vloggers from all over the world came in Bangladesh. But you are the unique one with family and best vlogger. Because you tried foods that not even so called “Rich” people of Bangladesh tries. Thanks for proper review and real Vlogs. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤

You are living the life my friend. We are all tied down to the same boring work and everyday routine and you are travelling the world with your family. God bless you and your family.
I’m truly amazed to see your little boy handling our traditional spicy food like a pro! Even kids from our country sometimes find it challenging to manage such spice levels. If you want to experience the true beauty of Bangladesh, I recommend visiting rural areas, villages, or popular tourist spots like Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, and many more. As a local, I’d suggest avoiding overly crowded areas, as they can be a bit unsafe for kids, especially while vlogging. Here, we locals never let go of our children’s hands in such places. Please make sure to drink only bottled water for safety. If you have any questions or need guidance, feel free to ask. It’s wonderful to see you and your family visiting Bangladesh. I hope you all have an amazing time and leave with cherished memories. Stay safe, and may God bless you and your family!❤
The travel vlog you made is exceptional and I appreciate it greatly. Your credit would be divided between 40% for yourself and 60% for your wife. Her skill in handling the children was truly remarkable. 10 out of 10
