I think i completely agree with you. I like the song, it's great, the production is always on point, their vocals are stunning! However, i feel like it's their weakest title track, in terms of visuals and sound? I still love it! Just my least favourite for now but it light change the more i listen to it. Compared to trampoline, it felt weaker because trampoline is just so fantastic! The album didn't disappoint, high quality as usual! Can't wait to see what's your favourite song on it, it might be Bluerose, i'm gonna watch the video right away!
Yea i totally agree, it’s a really pretty song and I will say it’s growing on me as I hear it more, the members sound amazing and the instrumental is so yummy but it doesn’t feel like a title track to me. I wonder if maybe it’s partially because there isn’t any choreo? at least in the mv i haven’t checked yet to see if there is elsewhere but I think that definitely threw me off. I can’t say that i’m disappointed because it’s still an amazing song but i’m really curious why they made the choice to make it the title track. edit: i just watched the it’s live for trampoline and in it they say that it’s a double title track so many that explains it somewhat
I very much agree with you - this song is pleasant to listen to I guess, but it didn't wow me at all, Trampoline would have been a much better title track I think. I am excited to listen to the album though!
I'm not sure there _is_ a "correct" English title; I've seen "Memory Candy" and "Remembrance Candy" in various places, but the actual video/CD doesn't have an English subtitle or anything, so I imagine either is as valid as the other. I absolutely love the song, and the MV (which is gonna take a few rewatches to unpack), but it's _also_ not my favourite song on the album; I'm torn between trampoline, shame and bluerose... I don't know if you spotted, btw, but the lyrics to this song were penned by IU...
Yes when I do the album first listened I always check the credits and saw she was on there! and I just went with the English title that was on Spotify!
Personally the weakest title track from them when it comes to my taste. I was a a bit disappointed even but realized that Trampoline is just THAT good and nothing that would come after would be able to match that honestly
I just know you will like bluerose
sapphic as hell 😭🫶 i love billlie mvs sm
