On the topic of modifying, yes you should keep a car fairly stock with some exceptions, coming from a 2008 Infiniti G37 you have to delete the cats because they get loose very prematurely and send material back into the motor wearing the piston rings and cylinder walls, that being said you need a tune after to make the car run like oem. Yes most the time emissions modifications are not legal depending on what state you live in but here in Texas paying $100 for inspection a year to pass is 100% worth my engine running at its best. Also remember that an engine is just an air pump, the more air and colder air you can get the better the engine will run, same goes for exhaust side and if your engine is more efficient then it can work less in most driving and last longer. Then there’s some more engine health mods like catch cans to keep the intake clean from oil and sludge which are only beneficial.

As ridiculous as it may sound that Hennessey wants to make the fastest gated manual car in the world, what's actually insane is that the F5-M is a car with 1,817 horsepower, is a roadster, AND HAS A GATED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. I'm shocked that people put so much weight on a brand? For me it's like "that car is cool, I want it", whether it were a Hyundai or a Porsche doesn't affect that want, nor does it affect how much I'd spend? It's more whether the vehicle feels like it is worth that much.
