Coleman is going to be great. Much better than Quentin Johnston.

Low 4.4?! Nah, he’s a 4.5 guy but that doesn’t matter his 10 yd split will be more insightful given he’s not going to be a deep threat burner kind of guy so long speed isn’t as important. His three cone will be telling and it’s obvious his vert and broad will be impressive

I actually really like the Kenny G. comparison. Kenny G. was a dawg w/ Detroit.

Sorry, but not buying the Keon Coleman hype, neither do some of folks I talked to.
He lacks separation big time, he ranks at the bottom 20 percentile in separation in this year's WR class. Yes he is athletic and a good 50/50 ball guy with some freaky highlights, but he isn't a technical route-runner, lacks fluidity and tempo and had 2 monster drops in critical moments in the last game of the season against Louisville. Also, Coleman was manhandled 1v1 by Nate Wiggins, arguably the best corner in this class, with 0 catch on like 7 targets during the game against Clemson. Good luck at the next level with better and bigger DBs. I just don't understand the hype with this guy...

Interesting insights...there has been comparison that come to my mind regarding your red flags. Claypool is one that come to my mind. Freak athlete with all the tangibles who seem to lack the fundamentals that make the difference at the league.

he's a great YAC and X receiver for an offense, his size makes him stand out and his raw talent would any team draft just for the shere ceiling that he has. Footwork can be taught and he needs to put in the work along with some good coaching staff, if he's gets that he can be a great wr in the nfl. DUDE this guy was playing every sport, his athleticism is off the charts, the more u see him play, you'll see the hype

These vids are great, maybe post-draft you can create playlists based on the team they went to?

I think he's gonna be good.
4.61 forty but a 1.54 split at 213 lbs, which was faster than guys like Isaac Guerendo and Jaylen Wright who impressed at the combine for their combination of size and speed. Strong and arrogant hands, doesn't need to slow down to catch the ball. I think there's a path for guys who aren't "big-time separators" if they have hands and body control, especially over the middle of the field. The upside comps are guys like Anquan Boldin and Michael Thomas. A lot of passes in the NFL are contested and require the receiver to work through defenders, even for the good route runners-it's a necessary skill. These guys are super valuable in situations where the QB needs a reliable target, i.e. third downs and redzone. The only risk, really, is that he's not elite and only a very good WR2/3.

This guy should be named Brenden Rice, given the talent and size ....
Same physical specs as Rome Odunze, and prolly a better overall athlete, but just not as good. Interesting....Skills matter.
