    I Payed around $8 a day to stay at Robin Hotel. I didn't really mention the daily price but i put it up on the screen.

      Good, helpful vid. I planned on Da Nang but this one-month visa has put me off. I hate packing up and moving on after only a few weeks.

      It was a great deal! I'm not sure what the prices are now but it's in a great location.

    Man, $8 and no bugs.. that’s twice the deal. Definitely going there someday. I laughed at 9:30 the dude on the motorbike carrying a ladder. Ha.

      Thanks Denis! It's very close to the rains now mate, everyday we getting stormy winds. The end of smokey season is in sight. I have 1 more Vietnam vlog coming and then it will be back on the Chiang Mai videos and updates.👍

    Another great vlog , the Robin hotel looks great and cheap, I prefer the cheaper small hotels or guest houses in Thailand and I find them better than the larger hotels, more personal service and friendly people

    Great location & super value room Wayne .
    Small & family run is always a bonus .
    I also limit use of air con as I always pick up colds if alternating between city hotels & island life

      Great location and hotel this. 2 minute walk to the beach. Some parts are similar mate. I do miss this beach area of Da Nang.

    Amazing value Wayne. Thanks for doing one of these. I like to get a feel for the costs around SE Asian countries for accommodation. The thing is if you were to stay at these places as a long term occupant they'd likely be even cheaper if paid upfront. I remember back in 1993 paying $5.00 a day to stay at the Expat Hotel at Patong Beach Phuket for 3 months. Even back then it was a steal so this one unbelievably cheap at todays prices. There's no robbing at the Robin Hotel buddy. Cheers man 😂🤣😂

    Hi Wayne! I am Việt Kieu plan to visit Da Nang this year…and I found your channel. Is Robin Hotel a QUIET place to sleep at night. I saw you booked room 404 (in the back) for extra privacy. Is this room the highest in the building? I know that the higher you go, the quiet it gets.

      Hi, Robin Hotel was a great place. I have to admit, they had construction happening outside when I was there. I'm sure it's fine now though. I had the end room, yes. I think there was another 2 floors above me.

      Yes, I loved staying at this place . I’ve heard it’s a bit more pricey nowadays , but still cheap.

    Quite a find Wayne! at the price I see online at the link you provided ($8usd) it's unbelievable!. Was it quiet as well?

      It come to about $8.50 a night, great deal. Was some construction happening when i arrived but it calmed down after a few days. The walls are thin and i could here next door. Nothing that hampered my sleeping though.

    Nothing wrong with that place at all!
    Hopefully there s a visa change coming end of May where you can stay a lot longer.
    I stayed HCMC pre 'the issue' and loved it,
    Da Nang is on the menu for next year and where you are ticks every single box I have - so thanks

    Good one! You are doing a week to week as you say. What would the monthly rate be for a 3 month eal? If you don't know for sure an estimate would be fine. I just want an idea. Not clear if you're on the beach side or city side. I'll be checking you out. 👍🇻🇳

      I don't know really, maybe find a place for $150 a month. You can only stay for 1 month at a time with the visas, so you would need to keep leaving and coming back. Yes, beach side.

      Vietnam are only doing 1 month visas at the moment but that's all about to change, with the 3 month visa coming very soon.

    Like the open shower better. Bathroom: porcelain, water, soap & me. The last thing I need to add to that equation is glass. You can have the stall. 👍🇻🇳 Sometimes I put up the wrong flag. I'm used to you in Thailand. Every so often one of the video guys/gals I'm used to seeing in Vietnam turn up in Thailand or Malaysia. I got it right this time.😊

    Be careful room needs window. If Fire you can escape. Too many fire in Motel Town house Food slos of chemicals. 😂

    Nice hotel Wayne. No wonder they call it the Robinhood... it's a steal at that price.
    I've always been impressed with the value for money you get at places in Vietnam. Always gotten awesome places in bigger cities etc.
    Of course you got a room with a back view.... being an arsh man 😅
