@@robertgladstein Max Frye , he's from North Carolina but lives now in Nashville , very awesome and talented musician. His original band is called Lost Hearts. He can cover anything by Eddie Van Halen and also Randy Rhodes. He was with Little Ozzy when he was 14 or 15 years old.
The video and performance are very good. I was thrilled to watch older people enjoying the sound that was from their youth. I've been listening to Van Halen every day for 35 years and I would love to be there that day. hug and congratulations from Brazil
Ahahahaha, Thinking the Xact Thang, at first I thought Ok, the bass tech?.?.walking by the Drums in the Shadow looked just like Roth, then I'm, Ohhhhh a Tribute Band. Then yah, Well he could Definitely be in a Motley Crue Tribute Band as well as Vince
This guy is also an Outstanding Wizard on The Guitar!! 🎸 He's So Damn Good, it just Blows My Mind!! Probably The Best Eddie Van Halen Tribute Guitarist,🎸 I've ever seen!! He makes The Band, and he seems So Naturally Talented, that it seems to come with ease to him,and The Singer ain't bad either, but does not have near The Showmanship, or Piecing Scream of The One and only David Lee Roth, but that's okay though, he fills in good enough for Me. It's a Good Tribute Band, with an Absolutely Awesome Guitar Player!! This tribute band is right under The Automatic Punks, VH Tribute Band,in My Book. Great Job Guys!!👏👏👏God Bless!! VH Forever!!! Woo-Hoo!!!🥳🥳🥳RIP Eddie,😊 Thanks for The Outstanding,& Memorable Memories!!!😎😎😎
I have to say. I been to 5 Van Halen concerts from 1979 to their very last with Roth of 1984 tour in Las Vegas NV where I seen them. I was expecting an ok performance, like many other VH cover bands. Only two I have actually liked and stayed all the way through to watch from beginning to end. Yours was one of them. You were there to have a good time and pay respects to the original VH and that blows me away! From your stage setup to the sound and playing took me back to the early Van Halen the best you could. Thank you. You guys rock!
the hammer guy is from a pest control company (western exterminator) here in L.A. there's still a sign up either on a billboard or on the side of a building, I forget which but every time i'm driving downtown from the valley on the 101 I get a kick out of seeing it.
Looking at the people dancing just reminds me of how "classic rock" bands like Van Halen have become. Before I turned up the volume, it looked like the audience in an "all-stars of doo-wop" commercial that was on TV.
Guitar player is a big talented guy. Awesome. Greetz a lifetime and beyond VH fan from Holland. Yes, The Netherlands, land of the klumps, windmills and gouda cheese. 😎 🤘🤘
I agree totally with you. Rap is just really poor poetry done with ever worst music if you can call it that. There are few real musicians today. And auto tune now that could make even me sound like singer that I am not.
That was awesome thank you for sharing and I definitely enjoyed seeing the people having a great time in the crowd young and old.! I wish I was there for that show
I'm just amazed how "Dave" has the inflections in his voice like Diamond Dave. I really think it adds to the experience of this Van Halen Tribute band. The musicianship is spot on and boys really did a great job of it, and I think Eddie would give his approval. The guitar player looks like Nuno Bettencourt, but plays like Eddie.
So close. So damn close. The tribute band is top notch. No way that I would be fooled it was actually Van Halen. But the singer's voice sound so much like David Lee Roth's I am floored at how good he is. 👍
The guitarist has talent, Eddie always played like it was Christmas and he just got the guitar. As far as Dave cut back on all psychotropic medications…
Who’s that guitarist? I would absolutely buy one of his solo, instrumental, albums if he had any. The rest of the group did an awesome job as well, brought me right back to 1984! Thank you very much for posting the video. 👍🏼🤗
Like a recent commenter, I also saw van Halen 5 times with Roth, beginning in 1978 when they opened for the Stones and Doobie Bros at the Superdome This performance really caught my attention, especially the guitarist.
damn guys I only got to see VH with Sammy... back in the 5150 tour.. i got hooked on 1984, and then went backwards in the catalog.. then forward.. but to me Eddie was at a sorta peak in sound on 1984... but that's just my opinion.. He was great up til the end. RIP Ed, We will sorely miss you. This really brings back my teen years thanks 84 VanHalen!!! you guys really kicked it!
with all the 70s 80s artists either dying off or retiring we are not far away from tribute bands playing arenas .i could def see that happening in next 15-20 years
Wow that’s pretty wild at times he actually sounds like Dave when he’s talking, when he sings he’s more consistent than Roth for sure, great job with Eddie’s parts I think he’d be happy
They are really great! This band captures the spirit of Van Halen to the T! Especially the guitarist! His smile his mannerisms and of course his playing is spot on! I think Eddie would be really impressed! : )
They are great they love what they do and it shows guy on guitar is seriously good very close and crowd is loving it ,can’t be wrong 🤟😊❤️
KILLING it - awesome! All of you. Perfect. Ultimate tribute to one of the best ever. THANK YOU!
So Many Great VAN HALEN Tribute Bands Out There Which Is Proof What An Impact VAN HALEN Had On The Rock'N'Roll World.
You can tell these put a lot of work into the whole show and stage. Looks and sounds great. 👍
A Van Halen Tribute to reckon with. Salute!
Fact: imitation truly is the purest form of flattery...and this proves it. And thanks for sharing this tribute.....
That was pretty impressive. That would have been a fun show.
The guitar player is spot on, sounds the part, looks the part too. RIP Eddie
And he's only about 18 yrs old too
Should of gotten David Lee Roth to sit in cuz the music sounded great, then he started singing Eek
Max was doing an Ozzy Tribute with Little Ozzy , he was like 14 and was killing it . amazing guitarist @@kevinhorton4400

The guy with puppy walkin by killed me😂 Great job guys paying tribute to the MIGHTY VAN HALEN!!!
I laughed too seeing the puppy!
Sounds like David Lee Roth, looks like Vince Neil.
He's probably been in a few Motley Crue cover bands.
Yep

Guitarist killer tone killer techniques- amazing

My very first concert. Van Halen Medford Oregon 1979
Man these guy are great. Don, spot on!
I like that dudes style! Effortless....damn!
That tone is PERFECT classic live EVH. Talk about nailing it! Wow.
That EVH dude shreds like nobody's business!!... 😎👍
thats a guy?
@@jamesreese8196my good friend Max Frye!
Great performance, fellas! Love the crowd shots too.
The speaker cabinets, the hammer guy and the Jack Daniels bass!!!! Awesome sound!!!!

Yes! I learned that recently. Dave paid them a sum to use their logo on the 84 tour@@ecstasteve
Van Halen ReBorn!!!!!...love this guy!! Sounds great!
Great!! The guitarist reminds of a young Eddie! Cheers from Sweden

Proudly brought to you by the Moster Mortuary.
I saw that too. Funny
One of my VH favorites song! 🎶🎶
one of the best VH tribute bands I've heard dam good
I play guitar, but I'm never as relaxed as this guy. He's damned good
He had to be relaxed to not give any of the crowd a heart attack :)
Went all in. And won.
I hope they make money, or maybe they just do it for fun. they are good, the singer sounds better than Studio Dave ever did.
Guitar player is a big talented guy. Awesome. Greetz a lifetime and beyond VH fan from Holland. Yes, The Netherlands, land of the klumps, windmills and gouda cheese. 😎 🤘🤘
The land that gave us brothers Alex🥁 & Eddie🎸 VAN HALEN! 🤘🏾😎
Makes me feel like leaving work and watching this kind of show the whole day and really enjoy myself.
Wow! toddlers and a puppy front row at a rock concert is a first for me, but these guys are awesome 🤘🎸🤘🎸
This is Rushville Indiana, wouldn't expect any less. Midwest does it best...
Nice sound and it's great to see Uncle Fester has a career after The Adams Family!
Which one is him? I didn't watch that show.
from a man who saw Mammoth to Van HALEN in my youth. 5 stars
It’s nice to see the kids putting on a show for Nana and Papi.
You guys are awesome, and the guitarist is so cute 💋
Damn great guitar solo!!🤘🏾🔥 🎸 🤘🏾🔥🎸🤘🏾🔥 Keep it up👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
GUYS, WE ARE SO LUCKY, WE WERE BORN IN A GENERATION WERE THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME! Music now is pure shit! 🎉
I agree totally with you. Rap is just really poor poetry done with ever worst music if you can call it that. There are few real musicians today. And auto tune now that could make even me sound like singer that I am not.
And fortunately I've seen all the good ones, from the Doors to Led Zep to Styx, LS, and everyone in the middle and end, God Bless Real Rock n Roll !
That was awesome thank you for sharing and I definitely enjoyed seeing the people having a great time in the crowd young and old.! I wish I was there for that show

The guitar playing is the Best EVH I ever heard yet.
That sounded brilliant.

FAT Dave doesnt work.......
@@steveludwig4200I wouldn't say he's exactly fat, just a little less fit
..right? Sounds Spot-on…
I will disagree. If he'd spend less time on the inflections and more time on his range, he'd be much better
best comment: looks like nuno but plays like eddie.
VH-Great Band!
Why is this not a national act? Phenomenal work guys! (From a VH fan from 1982!)
@@director2bob So You get some of your friends if you have any and do better and post it here on you tube.
Because the singer really isn't THAT good and he's kinda boring. Has some of Dave's Sounds down but boring otherwise.
There's only one KING EDWARD 🤴! No will ever be or play like KING EDWARD it's impossible!
These guys are having fun. That's what it's all about.
100%, if it aint fun its not worth doing. These guys are having fun
Truth... 🤘
Yes. "That's what dreams are made of". Sorry 🤦
Absolutely! If it makes people than go for it.
Exactly!!!!
This is why Van Halen will never die.

The guitar player, I think is Max Frye. I’ve known him since he was a kid.
Long live to the King....❤❤💣💣🤘🤘.....greetings from Italy🇮🇹.......
Could very well be the Best VH tribute band ever!!!
Steel Panther previous gig, Russ Parrish and Ralph Saenz the best ever VH tribute. These guys are great however....💚🎸

Great Van Halen Performance. Eddie the Great
Damn this is so close to the real thing. Wow! The guitar. The Dave. Just wow!

That David Lee imitation needs to grow a pair of lungs also
Hey, the guitarist is Max Frye from the band "Lost Hearts" he's the lead singer and guitarist and sexy. My favorite song is "Hate Yourself"
I had no idea Biff Byford was the lead singer in a Van Halen cover band!!!!!
He does a pretty decent American accent!!
looks like fun show to attend really . and Little Eddie monster Halen ant to bad himself !
Loving the Duran Duran tee shirt..
Very nice job recreating the Roth live era
Bass player looks like King Kong Bundy 😂
These guys sound really good
I seen 1984 live in Denver tripping my brains out
Wow very impressive, I swear you sound just like DLR. lot of Eddie Van Halen clones but you are the top of the pack. You make it look so easy
great cover band of VH in their prime!
Should open for Steel Panther
Good Ole' Diamond Dave...! FUCKIN' LOVE IT ...!
I really liked this tribute band. The singer had Dave's voice pretty well and the band played surprisingly great.
